Mymearan wrote: I feel that for a PVC model to look good it has to be specifically designed for PVC, taking into account shrinkage, having deeper than normal detail etc... are there examples of models that have been released in both metal/resin and PVC that look great in both formats?
I want to beleive that the PVC models really will be as good as the metal ones, but...
Anyone have a link to the video that shows them both together?
Also, if you pledge for a metal set, are the free stretch goals also in metal?
@Mysterio
I would like to see the video as well, hopefully someone can find it. The also posted links to some hd pictures of the plastic example in the KS comments, but the link doesn't work for me.
Here is one picture I found of metal, plastic, and 3d print:

Gallahad you can't see link to facebook profile in my last post?
What faction is most wanted by you guys?
By default for me Poland side. Minis have lots of character. And I read
books as a kid. Plus there are movie adaptations. In my opinion "Potop" is the best.
Second Turks.
For now I'm not big fan of Broken Cross, but will see.
Black horse of race can be Cossack fellas. They just badass.
I'm really tempted to skip the metal pledge and just go plastic...
...but...can I trust the process here?!?
I know the feeling. I’ve backed a project that had some great looking plastics that turned out less great when I actually got the product
I'm comfortable taking the risk in this case for a variety of reasons:
1) They are wargamers, so they understand the importance of figure details (as opposed to boardgamers)
2) The factory sample does look good, and comes from a Chinese manufacturer that has lots of industry experience
3) The 3d renders seem designed with the medium in mind with deep sharp details
4) There has been big improvements in the miniature quality coming out of Chinese manufacturers in the last 1-2 years. Nothing on the fail level of Sedition Wars or early Mantic restic has come out recently (to my knowledge).
In campaign news they put up an "All-In" pledge that includes a couple of yet to be unlocked expansions and with a nice discount:
We have also unlocked/revealed several interesting stretch goals with some cool historical and homage characters:
First of all, thank you gentlemen for answering the questions that popped up. Whenever I drop by, it turns out there isn't anything else to add.
Secondly, you may want to have a look at this interview with our boss, which covers a lot of topics, many of them pertaining to the wargaming and minaitures aspects of the game.
I fully admit to knowing next to nothing about the Cossacks, but these look a little too domesticated for what I envisioned they would look like. That being said, I'm trying to scrape together the cash to go all in on this one, as I think it has high probability of being a fantastic product that will get a lot of play.
Yep that was my vision to . Bare chested & footed in "szarawary". Probably pop-cultural depiction. But we learn something, what is cool to. Now waiting for two more minis of Cossacks and hope dark folklore creatures start crawling on day light soon. .
The Wikipedia article is about the Cossacks who registered with and fought for the Polish government, and the Anno Domini 1666 Cossacks are rebels, but it should give you an idea how well trained and organized Cossacks were. We also have a pretty cool in-character explanation of what they're doing in Vienna that we will reveal in a future update.
A very intriguing mini for me. In front you do not see the special attributes of this nice girl.
Cardinal Richelieu we wgot some glimpse on FB about him, So maybe ?
I will agree this is a very interesting and we’ll done succubus. I guess I’m just a fuddy duddy I guess and always prefer non-magical characters (if not necessarily historical)
