After updating my excel sheet of points and armies I noticed a few things.

Daemons of Chaos
They arent allies of anyone and have no allies. How do they get into armies ? I have a Soul Grinder which is not listed in any other army list.

Clans Pestilens
Have Nurgle as Allies but are not on Nurgles Ally list ?

Daemon Princes are only listed in Daemons of Chaos and Slaves to Darkness. Not listed with any of the 4 Chaos Religions ?

Page 69 Other Units ?
Mutalith Vortex Beast of Tzeentch
Slaughterbrute of Khorne

Did they just forget these and they need to be added to Disciples of Tzeentch and Blades of Khorne ? These were listed under Disciples and Blades last time.

Grots Points
Gitmob - 100/270
Moonclan - 130/360

Page 86 - Additional Pitched Battle Profiles, more then one Grand Alliance ? Who else do they align with besides Maggotkin ?
Horticulous Slimux
Nurglings
Plague Drones
Plaguebearers

The answer to all of these queries is that the God-specific allegiances don't require you to ally in units from other factions to include them in your army. The only criteria is that they have the relevant keyword.

So, to take some of your examples:

- Maggotkin don't need Pestilens on their allies list because all PESTILENS units have the NURGLE keyword anyway so you can just have them in the army as regular units

- You can give Daemons of Chaos units any god keyword to include them in the relevant army

- The marked Slaughterbrute and Vortex Beast both have the required keyword to be included in KHORNE and TZEENTCH armies respectively

Basically, check your battletomes for the Chaos factions: they all explain what the criteria are for including units in the army. And, if in doubt, remember it's always possible to use the CHAOS grand alliance.

About the only one this doesn’t answer for us Be’Lakor. Does he have any allegiance options? Or is he literally only available in a Chaos Grand Army?

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Just Chaos. He doesn't play well with the other children.

Damn. That’s harsh. Looks like my custom Be’Lakor might not see play too often. Isn’t Grand Alliance material generally not as strong?

I don't know why you'd expect to be able to use him in any God-specific armies - his whole schtick is that he doesn't owe allegiance to any of them and is constantly trying (and failing) to set himself up as fifth (sixth now...) Chaos God.

And yeah, the allegiance abilities for grand alliances are weaker than the faction ones, but that's balanced out by allowing you to include anything you want from that alliance instead of worrying about allies.
