Subject: Transport transporting units of other regimental doctrines
Hello, sorry if this is a basic one but can't find it exactly, the wording on the transport says 'astra militarum infantry' without the doctrine, is it implied somewhere that the doctrines must match?

You are correct. IIRC the only transport in the Astra Copywritum Codex with a regiment restriction is the Taurox Prime. All the rest can carry any regiment or even a mix of regiments. You can have Mordian Troops inside Steel Legion Chimeras just fine.

AM got an exemption from what most Codexes have due to the presence of so many non-<Regiment> models. It would be rather silly if a Commissar couldn't ride in a Chimera with the Regiment he is overseeing. Or if no-one but the Officer of the Fleet could mount up in a Valkyrie.
