New titan hunter infantry, basically little thanatars. Took some pics with the ordinatus crawler and the rest of the boys. I added the warmaster shield to my reaver.

I'm working on the Warbringer model, which presents a challenge to keep all six weapon options for the shouler hardpoint modular, since there is only one pair of mounts for five of the six options.

I made a part to fill that gap in Fusion 360 and I'm currently printing the parts that I need to make that work for me.

Managed to press fit most except the missiles, not sure what to do for those.

Yeah, I want all six options interchangeable and didn't want to blue-tac the weapons into the mounts. So I made myself more mounts, ready with recesses for magnets.
That opens the door for me to just have magnets left and right and pop in whatever weapon I want for WYSIWYG.

I posted the STLs on Thingiverse, link is in my signature.

Would there be any interest in more Titanicus scaled scatter bits? I've been very tempted to start a Patreon to release STL's of smallscale terrain bits to add extra character to existing terrain and bases.

Here some samples:

Looks pretty cool, not sure how much of it will translate to like 6-8mm but I could see enough stacked together would look like cool, the fruit and bottles stand out most obviously because of the colour. If you could do the pieces in themed basing sets like "urban, desert village, alien world" ect it'd be cool. What is lacking a lot for AT is nice little trees/cactus/shrubs/plans at that scale, also stuff like wounded/dead bodies or wrecked civilian vehicles.

The crates with fruit were kinda meant for a market place like setting. The gun and ammo crates are more easily used on bases/dioramas with soldiers.

As for themes, I was thinking of a theme like 'logistic bits' which would contain various types of crates, barrels, suitcases, etc. They would of course be supported by civilians, basically servants who are designated to carry luggage:

Regarding the plants, how about some potted plants?

Potted look good, I like where you're going with this. The key is its great story telling bits for a base or extra little details for terrain. Even small stuff like food or news huts would be cool.

I was thinking of also designing stuff like market stands, traffic lights, outdoor furniture (benches etc), and so on.

Basically imagine grimdark futuristic and Titanicus scaled version of something like this:

Cool, they'd be great for making custom objective markers with a bit of character.

It's a bit dark but bodies in varies poses or various kind of bodies (civilian and military) possibly even in or partially under rubble would be good for titan bases. Even just wounded troops or civies would be cool cuz there are some cool medic models out here. Dead servitor or mechanicum looking models would be cool for basing too.

I really like the idea of stand alone huts/shops very middle eastern bazaar style.

After putting some love into Nurglification of the Lucius Pattern Warhounds and the basing for this Legio, I can see where it is going.

Now working on the weapons! =]

I've been pushing Vanguard Miniatures to do civilians, and especially corpses. Sadly enough, nothing yet. They do however have a Novan Elites' corpse hidden in one of their more recent infantry sets: link.

As for the workers I've posted above, I do plan on doing a few corpses of them.

Having them in metal would be awesome.

A buddy printed me some of these in 6mm and they do the trick so far https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3022218

Sadly enough these I've got planned won't be cast in metal. However, plan now is to make them available as STLs through an upcoming Patreon.

It always impresses tp see the final product painted, renders never do justice. Also on the stl side it shows how clean they print ect.

It's a tangent but, one thing the game could really use is some more counters. For starters, something to indicate which titan the princeps seniores are in, perhaps counters to place next to titans to indicate their void shields are down, a counter for titans affected by quake, with the new universal wargear, I find myself taking bastion shields a lot, they're one use only so a counter that would sit on the terminals as a reminder would be cool. No one's really done custom opus titanica's or objective markers for AT, not to mention I've seen very few alternate files for the little terminals pips.

One thing grimdark terrain includes every month is a new shield for titans with legio symbol, june was legio mortis. If these are secret surprises not shown in any commercial promotion you're likely fine, also gw and fw have never bothered to to any legio specific sets for armour or symbols. But anyway, stuff that skirts the ip line but always couched as a bonus could help on the patreon front. Also good for word of mouth.

Very true, for that reason I'm very tempted to have a few printed and painted by those in the community. Give away a few free samples here and there. You know anyone who might be interested?

I feel like you probably want one person, for consistency. The good thing is you don't necessarily have to trust them with the stl's if you already have a printer and can just send the models. I always like when vanguard show's stuff painted, makes a big difference.

When you do get around to doing a release would it be possible for you to put them on a print service like Shapeways as well?

I'm working on a terrain project in Titanicus scale but haven't been able to find a public use printer near me and my apartment is too small to work with resin unfortunately.

What I've noticed several Patreon's do is that one of their subscription tiers allows for Print on Demand services to sell the printed versions of the models. I might go for something like that.

As for Shapeways, personally I'm not too fond of it. I used to have a shop on there back in the day, but their constantly changing pricing policies and generally rather inferior quality really bugged me off.

Perfectly reasonable. I don't have much experience with Shapeways so I didn't know that.

If you were able to offer a print on demand option I'd greatly appreciate it.

After a lot of head scratching I've ordered a pair of Armiger Warglaives, with the intention of using them as alternative melta-chainfist reavers until new AT titans are announced. They fit the bill as quick to assemble & paint and something different to look at.

That and they look badass!

Still need the right bases tho for reavers, as the armigers are on like 80-100mm circular bases I believe.

A good point but we have that covered, although it will require creating custom plasticard firing-arc templates. Take the one for the warhound and place it on top of the reaver firing arc. Line up the bottom corners and the solution presents itself...

However, this is not adviseable for tournament play as even if they do accept the highly unorthodox custom arc template, the Armigers are sadly taller which will lead to problems with line of sight. But for practice games at a club its sound enough.

The 105mmx70mm bases are available separately, might also be third party ones cheap on ebay. They ship fast cuz they fit through the mailslot.

There is always the option of pegs on the feet for swapping out bases, I suppose.

The Armigers arrived in the post today and oh my they were worth the £35 I paid for them. Very large dudes indeed!

Some grand Titanicus slam tonight!

1750 points of Favilla's hyper-aggressive Ferrox pain-train took on a two-player Krytos / Fureans alliance, facing off on a desert world tainted by a foul, toxic atmosphere (which could worsen critical damage over time) and wracked by a painful, daemonic presence (which made machine spirits even more unruly than usual). Both sides were trying to break deeply into the other's lines.

A perfect display of Titanicus as a game: first turn was agressive maneuvering, followed by a wild firestrom, third turn nuclear annihilation and a fourth turn mop-up of those still standing. My Ashen Gods took the field by Full Striding through the line on the first turn while the opposition dillydallied in their corner, losing the momentum and then getting slaughtered with their backs to the wall. While the result was a blowout 35-7 points and 6-2 casualties for Favilla's favour, the game was hugely fun for all involved and a rematch shall surely follow in time. All the beautifully painted and visually distinctive armies don't hurt, either

My favourite moment was at the end, as my teleporting Clawlord finally got a Charge on the opposing Deus Victrix and tore his reactor heart out in one neat display of four Critical Hits to the body. Fists for days!
