Ahh of course haha, I should have known that as I'm basically in the process of planning out a dark mech army. Though it's only really model conversions, still just using chaos for rules. Dark Mech rules would be lovely.

Becareful what you wish for. Primaris is an ugly slope downhill. Why would Chaos want to be Space Marines 2.0. Nevermore have Space Marines been less attractive as they have been now. I'd echo the point that you will be better off seeing more specialised armies like Emperors Children and World Eaters.

What we do know with almost 100% certainty is that Slaanesh and Khorne will get the same treatment as Nurgle and TS i.e. Primarch, certain updated cult troops and redesigned characters e.g. Fabious, Lucius et all.

Already have Kharn, still strikes me as a really odd release timing for him unless GW wanted to test out the new Khornate aesthetic prior to committing - not that it looks much different from the current one / AoS.

New Abaddon is one the cards and rumoured for Xmas release - apply NaCl2 liberally.

The generalist range will probably get updated over time but on a more piece-meal basis.

Would be nice to get specific models for NL, WB, IW and Red Corsairs but that would probably be quite a way off.

In summary, the Chaos range prospects look good. Rules wise, mid-tier armies?
