For anybody that hasn't read it, turns signals on a land raider http://tsoalr.com/ was a fun little web comic that ran from 2003 to 2009 that primarily followed Kren and Frep the Landraider crew of the Emperors pointy sticks on their usually short lived table top adventures. Unfortunately it was discontinued by the author when he couldn't come to an agreement with games workshop regarding licensing the series for publication

Well as we all know times they are a changing at games workshop and to the authors surprise he was recently contacted by gw and not only is he restarting the web comic but its being hosted on the warhammer community site https://www.warhammer-community.com/tsoalr/

I for one am really happy to see this make a return I just hope its not past its time and he makes a success of it.

Yeah, 10 years ago webcomics were a thing, they aren't now.

It's astonishing how much the culture seems to have changed at games workshop.

the distinct impression I have is the people running GW now are fans. GW seems capable of not only talking to us, but doing so "in our own language"

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

I'm glad to see GW and the author came to an agreement.

According to who, exactly? Things like Order of the Stick, Cyanide and Happiness, XKCD, Sandra and Woo and many others are still going strong as well as thousands of smaller sites. I know I read about 20 different webcomics weekly and am very pleased by TSOALR's return.

#ConvertEverything blog with loyalist Death Guard in true and Epic scales. Also Titans and killer robots! C&C welcome.

IDK if I'd consider new management deciding not to threaten to sue fans into oblivion coming to an agreement. It certainly is good that they reached out though, must've been a few fans of the webcomic championing for it internally.

That was never the case. The comic stopped because they wouldn't allow a print version of the comics to be sold. They had no issue with the comic itself. Something that apparently he's in discussion with GW at the moment about if the update on the home page is correct.

Truth. Also throwing in Unsounded and Kill Six Billion Demons. Both leagues above in quality against most published comics these days.
