Situation: I have been playing Eldar Aspect host with dashes of Harlies and Darkness for giggles. Recently i got a massive addition to my spirit host section. I want to run it as the core of a new list. but not sure how best to make Spirit host work. Advice is needed please

Core (models non negotiable Gear negotiable)
10 wraith guard with D-scythe
2 wave serpents to run them up and cause havoc (twin scatter lasers)
2 Hemlocks
2 wraith lords (full kit sword and 2 starcannons/scatter lasers))
Spirit seer

Negotiable but really wanted...darned points cost
Wraith knight sword board and 2 scatter lasers

i have another flyer i can covert to another hemlock but 3 just seems taking it to far.
only have 10 rangers
Have pretty much everything else in enough quanties

What would be the best way to support this core of wraith spirit driven goodness?

Thanks Dakka

This is a pretty good start.
You need some HQs to support your army such as a Spiritseer or two.

Easiest suggestion is to swap out the scatter lasers on the serpents for shuriken cannons and preferably vectored engines to allow advance movement to allow your payload to get to where they're going quicker and at a -1 to hit. Probably a second spirit seer to accompany the wraithguard, since I assume you'll be running them in two squads of five.
With the wraithlords I'd go either sword and two shuriken cannons or no sword and two star cannons. In this list I'd personally go for the shuriken version since they can advance up to support the guard and serpents.
For the knight I'd have the farseer fortune to try and help keep it alive, though it will still be tricky!
You might want to add in a unit or two of swooping hawks for mobility and for horde chaff clearing duties. Or a guardian blob from the webway.

i have what i thought was a second spirit seer (old model) just learned last night its is the very old Farseer model. so i can field 2 spirit seers and way to many far seers =P

Which craft world would be better. i was thinking Ulthwe for main body and flyers knight would be Iyanden. But would with all the Shuricanons would running Beil tan be better for the re-rolls and leadership?

my plan was to just throw the wraith guard 2 hemlocks and the knight down as fast as i could. wraith lords being slower would ne on crowd control and mop up duty. Then what ever else i fielded.

yes 2 squads of 5 in a Serpent.

You're going to want to go for iyanden. Everything works, the faction trait, the psytronome relic and the spiritseer strategy are great for a spirit host based army.

Iyanden in my beil-tan pain scheme check. Is the unique Iyanden Autarch worth his points then. I so can't remember his name right now.
