Hadn't noticed this one mentioned here yet-

They're what I can best describe as Final Fantasy inspired models done up in a quasi- revolutionary war era style? I don't know. It's hard to describe.
Reminds me of a more anime- influenced Rackham art style.

With stretch goals seems like you get a pretty decent value if you're into resin figures. Plus lots of pets and mascots..

Their previous campaigns funded and seemed to go well. I actually ordered a few of their dwarfs (who also share a bit of Rackham inspiration while doing their own thing) so hopefully I will receive them before the campaign is done.

Pretty nice to see someone striking out and doing their own thing with models rather than trying to pigeon hole them into someone else's game.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

I've got this one saved for the "48 Hour" notice as the minis are quite nice and very characterful but...

...I don't know what I'd use them for.

I'm almost wishing there was a game along with the minis, to give me the extra incentive/necessary excuse to jump in here.

Fancy Kingdom Death survivors? Malifaux? I don't know what I'll use them for, but I am down for at least one figure.

I hear you!

I will be picking up at least a few figures here too - just wish I knew for what!

I'm confused...

...our human characters represent individuals with different heights and their miniatures reflect this concept, going approximately from 34 to 41mm size

So... why would you describe them as '32mm' then...???

I mean, they're pretty and all, I just don't understand what they hope to achieve by labeling them as something that they are quite self-evidently not.

32mm is the general scale, not the height. Despite being 32mm scale, the various characters have differing heights. Just a way to have variation among the figures.

Yes, I get the difference between scale and height. But when your shortest figure is taller than the stated scale, it suggests that your scale is out. The scale on miniatures generally refers to the height of an 'average' human male. So calling these 40mm would seem more accurate than calling them 32mm.

It's probably not a big deal unless someone is looking for them to blend in with other (actual) 32mm figures, but it just jumped out as an odd discrepancy.

I really liked their last KS with just dwarfs. They have so much character in their sculpts. Not sure if I will jump in on this ones though, as nice as the figures are. I need more monsters, or evil dwarfs to loosen my wallet.

At first I agreed with what you were saying, but looking over the KS, many of the figures are in 35-37mm to the top of the head, which is right on the mark for 32mm.
I like them (though the dog sculpts mainly ), but don’t really know what I’d be using them for - and I’ve been selling off loads of stuff to make space and cull the collection, so shouldn’t be buying stuff with no use..

Assigning a widely variable average measurement to a scale has always been a bit dumb. 32 to the eyes? to the top of the head? What scale is that ? 32mm Napoleonic or ancient would be a different scale to modern etc etc.

Anyhoo, these are lovely miniatures. Very tempted by the red coats. and the dwarves.

It just dawned on me these would probably work really well as Carnevale figures.

The mostly human, use of firearms, distinctly Italian style masques and clothes... might work pretty well, especially as nobles or guild members. Maybe even Papal Guard?
