Yes 1000 times to Cuss-toe-days. I’m so sick and tired of “cus-toads”...no one says “adeptus as-tarts”. Also having taken Latin for a year, I figure that’s how fake Latin should be pronounced.
Cuss-toe-days.

Besides, the French would still pronounce the T in Roboute because it's followed by an E.

I'm reading this thread, taking note on the correct pronunciations, and not changing a thing with how I pronounce them.
Rowboat Goolyman
Sangwhynus
Eldari
Lazzcannon
Demon
Ball
40k linguistics is the next level of this hobby that I'm just not ready for. Although, to be fair, I tend to just pronounce it the way I hear others say it during games.

That IPA transcription (which is a pronunciation guide, not the “original” spelling) should sound like “bay al” (al as in Al Bundy); two syllables. Wikipedia offers an alternative pronunciation, “baah al”.
If you say “baah al” fast, Baal=Ball.
Apart from pronouncing it wrong by eliding the second vowel entirely, the vowel sound in "baal" is not the same as the sound in "ball". "aah" vs "aww".

there was a fair bit of Celtic influence to the Eldar, back in 1990 (partly by way of the Warhammer Fantasy elves, I suppose, too); some of the personal names, names of equipment and weapons and the Court of the Young King.
Also:
ROE-boot GULLiman
EL-dar
ale-DAR-i
dru-KHAR-i (kh like the ch in loch)
LAZ-gun (not "layz")
TIH-ran- id
cus-TODE-eez
ah-START-eez
ar-BITE-eez
daemon = demon. Presumably their typesetters didn't have "æ" available.

Hmm, Ohm as in Ohm’s law or Omni as in Omniscience? Does GW have it officially somewhere, perhaps read from one of the black library audio books?
This sounds like one of those things that would inspire an entire fanatical war over, just for the pronunciation and underlying meaning/association of the word.

We used to say Zen-teck. That was a long time ago. Since then I've learnt some Russian and discovered that tz is easy to say.
Hmmmm. Now I'm tempted to convert the ee into yi of Russian. Tzyeentch.
Omnisiah I pronounce like omniscient. He's the all knowing machine God. Omni+Messiah.

Tzeentch is supposed to be an onomatopoeia of a magic user casting a spell, per Rick Priestley.
Imagine a Sorcerer casting a zappy bolt and you're not far off on pronunciation. "Zeent ch"

If you pronounce that with a soft "c" (an " ss" sound), you might get an idea of how they've appeared in primitive mortal cultures.

I shared this on a related thread, and I'll share it here too. You can avoid ambiguous pseudo spelling by using the IPA characters here.
Roboute Guilliman = /rəʊˈbu:teɪ ˈgɪləmən/ from Warhammer TV.
Abaddon: I prefer /əˈædən/ to /ˈæbədɒn/, but I'm not sure which is correct.
Tzeentch: I like to pronounce the t at the beginning - /tzi:nʧ/
Lasgun: I prefer /ˈlæsgən/ over /ˈleɪzgən/
Primarch: I'd say /ˈpraɪˌmærk/ because of my Irish accent, but I'm certain the correct British English is /ˈpraɪmɑ:k/. I don't think I've ever heard someone say /ˈpraɪmɑ:ʧ/; that's just bizzare.
Aquila: /ˈakwɪlə/, although Assassin's Creed 3 has me saying /æˈki:lə/.
Leman Russ: I always say /ˈleɪmən rʌs/ though I find the arguments for /ˈli:mən ru:s/ very convincing.
Astartes: I used to think /əˈstɑ:rteɪz/, but tons of YouTube battle reports have convinced me it's /əstɑ:ti:z/.
Arbites: /ˈɑ:bi:teɪz/?
Baal: I always say /bˑɑ:l/ because it sounds a lot more grandiose than /beɪl/, which just reminds me of hay bale.

They're not all fake. A lot of work was put into learning how Romans would pronounce things (which is different than how, say, the Vatican, would do it).
For Roman Latin, it's:
"kus-toe-days"
