Can I get a sprue with all four?

Plus Space Bear Winged Hussar conversion bits of course

Okay, guys, this is turning into a game of Smash Up. There are a number of stand-alone games in the series, one of which has bears. Smash Up: Awesome Level 9000.

Bear Cavalry – What's scary? A bear. What's really scary? A cossack riding a bear! Bear Cavalry will use fear to drive opposing minions to other bases.

From my logged plays at Boardgame Geek, I see I won a game with Innsmouth/Bear Cavalry, so Cossack Bear Cavalry allied with Deep Ones and Deep One Hybrids from Lovecraft's "Shadow over Innsmouth." And there's stranger combos possible.

Ah so the most generic things ever

Who else produced plastic catfolk?
And generic multipack kit of robots sounds useful and most robots are not sold by mix and match component sprues. So again its different.
You have a point on orcs, so one out of three ain't bad eh. Though they did do generic goblins so, why not.

They did generic Tolkienesque goblins...which are orcs. Orcs and goblins are basically the same thing in that setting.

I'm wondering, did we ever get anything about the relase for Conquistadors or Cannon Fodder or WW1 French and the lot?

Did you submit them? If not, then at least one other person did.

I voted for them. I assumed you meant the Sea People of the late Bronze Age.

Hi there, still in progress. Can't say where in that pipeline they are, but when you see a preorder pop up they are close.

I collect:

Grand alliance death (whole alliance)

Stormcast eternals

Slaves to Darkness - currently Nurgle but may expand to undivided.

I'm wondering, can we expect an Einherjar Command Squad anytime soon? Because as of now, the lack thereof is the only thing preventing me from spending a bunch of money on them

Those are the type I want, and fit old school generic D&D also. I do collect, and like up to a point, green skinned football hooligans, but only for my Warhammer armies.

Tolkienesque crcs blending to goblins in a sliding size scale with grey brown skin paintjobs and no corny bits or evidence of 'kultur' please. I like what Atlantic did with goblins and so am willing to trust them to do orcs in the same vein.

I think you misunderstood. When someone on Facebook asked them to make orcs, they said they did, and pointed to the goblins.

OK, I get. They still added orcs as an option though.

Yes. They added a lot of stuff to the poll that they likely never want to make.

The conversation about orcs was months ago. If enough people vote for orcs (or pester them), they might decide that bigger goblins are worthy of a kit after all. Hopefully they’d use the opportunity to add a bunch of new options for heads and weapons that are interchangeable with the existing kit.

At the moment I would say conversions are your friend.

I made a command squad from Einherjar and leftover bits from the oathmark heavy dwarves infantry

More concept art for Apemen in case they come up for a vote in heat 2:

This could be a joint sci-fi/fantasy set with a few gun arms and some hairy alien heads.

The mix of bare skin and fur would be quick to paint up and provide nice visual contrast, with big patches of fur being broken up by simple ornaments/trophies. Despite being common foes in pulp novels (the Lost World by Arthur Conan Doyle, Tarzan, etc.) and sword and sorcery settings (Conan's Hyboria, etc.) they do not currently exist, even in metal. There are a few smaller chimps with weapons, but nothing roughly man sized or "missing link" which is what I think the world needs.

Maybe even one body could have some simple clothes ala planet of the apes...another setting I would love to game in.

Crooked Dice has Planet of the Apes covered, at least on the simian side.
Simian Minions
Simian Minions 2 Should be called Character pack, as the figures are Cornelius, Zira, a Gorilla General, and Dr. Zaius
Mounted Simians

However, if you want Charlton Heston, they only cast him in his Omega Man persona: Survivor Stars

Those head sculpts are... Not the best, but my true desire here is Apemen for pulp adventures, so I'd be perfectly happy with no trousers in the set.

I want miniatures for prehistoric and pulp adventures, but I figure the set would be more appealing to a broader audience with guns included.

I'm fond of the original movie myself, so I am considering a purchase, as well as Doc Brown and Marty McFly. Crooked Dice has quite a few familiar characters in their shop.

Assuming the Apemen make it to production, the WGA lizardmen provide a precedent for a varied weapon mix. So stone & wood weapons, bronze weapons, and bolt-action rifles.

Now that I think about it, Grognards Cav will probably sell badly compared to others for a simple reason - most people use Death Fields as 3rd party Imperial Guard and IG has no cavalry. So it probably wouldn't be a great idea.

They do have or hadcavalry, they are called rough rider which are only recently as of 8th Legends.
