That looks an awful lot like the description for my monk-robed cultist submission, actually. The one that lost to Landsknect Ogres!

Also, I'm in on the Tribes. My STL subscription budget is getting up there per month, but aside from cheap indie rulebooks, it's also most of my minis expenditure each month anyways.

I swear, I'm a sucker for the grab-bag effect you get with a Patreon or Tribes subscription.

Especially when we have 19 sets in the launch package.

Which one are you going to print first?

We are happy to see people enjoy the stls, and hope to see plenty of projects pop up.

Nuns without guns? What kind of heresy is that?!

Nuns without guns is not a heresy. Unarmed nuns are a heresy. I've some fantasy nuns for KoW, and one of them is both a character in a solo fantasy campaign I was playing, and now a character in some fiction I'm writing.

As for the maybe-nuns. Could also be robed Cultists. "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn."

So first month was acutally 4 complete multipart kits, 1 "army builder" style set, 4 upgrade sets for specific WGA plastic kits, 5 characters that fit with specific WGA plastic kits, some generic upgrade bits, the tankette and several scenery sets.

Fantastic first month, but can they possibly keep up this sort of pace?

We believe it. Someone on the facebook group said they were going to print an army of chickens.

We can, and we look forward to demonstrating so. Enjoy the files and let us know what you print first!

I definitely see the heads being used on a whole bunch of different bodies.

I collect:

Grand alliance death (whole alliance)

Stormcast eternals

Slaves to Darkness - currently Nurgle but may expand to undivided.

Are the heads available as a separate item?

no, but you can buy the full damned set on its own, if you don't want to subscribe to the tribe.

to reiterate, the tribe has 3 tiers.

1. A limited "Early bird" all in tier at $10/month limited to 500.

2. A "Buy us a beer" tier that gets you 1-2 figures a month at $5/month

3. An all-in tier at $12 for anyone who didn't make it to the early bird.

Sure. I mean, when you have a 3D print service that sells physical items, will the heads be an option, or will one have to buy the whole damn set?

Either way is fine. Just curious how fine the selection will be.

So I have to subscribe to something or can I just buy this months releases as a one off? I like the look of those demon things. Wish I could see them closer up.

Since McDougall Designs is backed up on 3d printing, anybody know any other good 3d print services?

He was my go-to as well. I've googled local print services; you might want to do the same if there's no response to your request.

You could sub and then unsub. but if you get in on the $10 rate and can lock it in, why would you if they are releasing close to this much a month?

I apologize on being behind, y'all. Regardless, Wargames Atlantic has not announced a merchant tier so i wouldn't be able to sell directly on my website at the moment.

For those unaware, we have opened a technical support thread on our own forum at the link below for any technical issues with Atlantic digital files.

We have already been made aware of several issues and our sculpting and support teams are working to remediate these and new issues as they are reported.

We've also enjoyed seeing plenty of new hobby content being posted as you all enjoy Atlantic digital content, so please keep sharing it with us.

We've posted another update, if you are a tribes member.

If not, now's a great time. We've got just about 100 early bird $10/month subscriptions left. With 19 sets in the launch package, there is something for every wargamer. We are still working diligently towards being able to offer pre-printed parts too.

Next month looks to be Civilian oriented, if the design team has followed what the polls from the last few weeks suggest.

What civilian sets would you like to see in the coming months package?

Civilian Romans might be great as camp followers or as background in a Roman city display piece.

Also, since you've done warhounds for the Irish, might I suggest you do different styles of historical hounds? After all, dogs have been present in a variety of battlefields and/or day-to-day life in practically all of recorded history.

I’d like contemporary and near-future civilians with a mix of tools and daily life accessories.

Welding torches, rivet guns, jackhammers, handheld power drills, chainsaws, crowbars, For zombie apocalypse games, a sledgehammer and fire axe. The lightsticks used by ground personnel at airports and on aircraft carriers to guide aircraft.

For daily life items: A briefcase (maybe it’s really a backpack nuke …), the morning latte cup, a bag of groceries. Maybe a tennis racket, golf club, and baseball bat. And how can I forget smartphones? One being used as a phone, the other for texting. And a clipboard, so we can make an architect or structural engineer for the construction workers. A bottle wrapped in a paper bag for the wino. Student backpacks. Your existing backpacks are for the military and so are big. I certainly did not have one that large in high school and college, and no one else did either.

I was thinking about Roman citizens- it would be great if the parts fit the Decline and Fall bodies already available, you could make civilian Goths, soldiers at camp, and continue to expand on what's already available that way as well.

Generic jumpsuit crewmen in hardhats? Could double as cannon fodder, engineers, construction laborers, whatever, depending on what sorts of gear they've got in their hands.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Honestly, this Tribes is crazy value, very interesting stuff all around, something for everyone.

After being the 3rd subscriber, glad it took off with 400 people now, at 4k a month it might be profitable enough to keep going at this pace!

The more people that sign up, the more concrete evidence we have to invest more resources and bring you even more value each month.

Thanks! The conversion kits are designed to use our plastic sets, so it would make sense you may need to order more to expand your projects.

We may or may not have some plans involving contests centered around these conversion kits.

Please use high quality images of each model/set instead of a single blurry low-res image of all the models combined into one so each item is about the size of an ant. There's no way to see what's actually being subscribed for/purchased on either your own webpage/news article nor on MMF.

click on the "Objects" tab in MMF and you can see each individual item. (click on one item and you'll see dozen+ images of each bit and example assemblies)
