Anybody have any experience with the Wargames Atlantic bases? Trying to decide if they are worth the premium over normal 25mm bases.

I like the ease of covering up the accursed puddle bases, but I generally find super thin bases difficult to pick up...

The top side of the bases is textured slightly, and the button has the interior lip from the negative space, which makes them relatively easy to handle.

Added to our December Tribe: Napoleonic Camp Followers! This is another big set with so many options. Multi-part, full figures, puddle and no puddle, supported/unsupported - hundreds of files!

They can be used to enhance your Napoleonic battlefield or as an objective for the dastardly enemy (attach the baggage camp!) Also very useful as generic late 18th and 19th century washers, cooks, wine sellers, and the like. Or arm them and add them to your revolting mob!

This set is very likely to be a hard plastic set in the future as well although without so many extras!

That set looks amazing! I would gladly pay for that kit in plastic, even with less options and damnable puddle bases.

A four figure set is available on Only-Games.

Still no The Damned and my patience/ consumer resistance is running out.

I'll see what gets added over the rest of today but an order is going in tomorrow regardless.

We are having technical issues with uploading the damned to only-games. We are currently working on it in concert with a team at OG/MMF.

Super dumb question from a total n00b; When you buy from Only-Games, are you purchasing an STL or a physical print?

In reality, it's only my consumer resistance that is running out.

Thanks for the update.

Only games is the physical prints store. My mini factory is stl's.

In unrelated news, the crier prints up well, and more Aztec banners take paint well too

Okay, I've subscribed to the WGA Tribe on MMF. Now do I need to download everything now, or will the files be there as long as I maintain a subscription?

Theoretically, once it's in your library under tribes > Wargames Atlantic it's there forever.

Pragmatically, I download everything just to be on the safe side

Thanks for the reply. I've downloaded and backed up three file sets I definitely want. The others I'm undecided.

@Wargames Atlantic: do you sell the prints over Only Games yourself, or is that some concession company that gets the rights and then sells your STLs in printed form? Don't know how this is handled.
If it is the second, maybe it would be interresting to get in touch with Stronghold-design.de?
They are the partners and EU distribution of Footsore Figures and also sell prints of other companies STLs.
While I strongly preffer hardplastic sets, some way to get physical versions across the pond would be great also.

Just a note on only games, they seem to be running on a considerable delay at the moment. I'm still waiting on stuff from black Friday from them.

Though they did send an apology and a 25% off coupon once it got to 2 weeks after order, so if you're not in a big hurry to get by christmas, may still be worth it.

Currently the only authorized dealer of physical prints is only-games.

Only games is based in the UK and ships to Europe with IoSS. There should be no issues with ordering from their site. What specifically are your concerns?

Also:
I have a feeling Lord blackfang is going to need this next release to keep up with the hemmorage of printer resin from his available supply.

Oh, I was under the impression Only Games was US based, never heard of them. Will check them out.
IOSS is better than nothing, but a proper EU partner would still be preferable. It erases the hassle with customs, but the items still are 20-30% more expensive. I ordered maybe 20 times a year from several UK shops before Brexit, now it's maybe 2-3 times...

Merry Christmas to you all and keep up the good work!

Brexit. What a pain. As an American living in Germany I really wish more American based companies (as well as international Kickstarter projects) would come to understand UK based distribution to the EU is suboptimal. While the UK may have once been an excellent trade portal into Europe it no longer is.

Does anyone else have a problem downloading the free mini on Myminifactory?
If they make 1920's gangster (in plastic), I'd buy a few boxes.

Is the schedule up to date? I see that Afghan and Conquistador Cavalry are still listed as Sculpting and they were first teased a long time ago.

Relatively speaking. We are currently looking at updating it, although I cannot speak to a date that will occur.
