The real question is if they have product codes on the packaging that gives away which figure is in the bag like most blind bags these days.

Would be cool, I grabbed two...but i really want an Eversor.

Store guy said that ad far as he knows only one had be opened so far from their big box, so either there's a different amount of each or I might get really lucky, haven't opened them yet. Had I known that my clothes shopping would be so cheap I'd have gotten a few more and given doubles to my nephews for Easter

Edit: Oh, btw, they're packed further inside those plastic bags, so no feeling what's inside :/

Edit 2: I can't find a differing code on the packaging so far.

What is the further packing inside the bag like - is it possible to feel what's inside to some extent or is there no chance? Only other blind bag I've bought much of before was some of the Star Wars Micro Machine ships and those had further packaging inside too (a plastic protector that fit to the ship), but it was possible to sometimes feel at least the general shape/size.

I'm guessing it's more likely a round tube style plastic insert like what's inside the Ryan's World blind bags. Edit: pictures are just showing a clear plastic bag on the inside. You should be able to feel them up.

Binabik, the codes are generally embossed along the edges of the packaging rather than printed on. They may not have them, I know Lego made sure theirs don't have them. The codes are technically there for internal reasons to make sure the current amount of assortment is in each box, ie. no double super rares in one box.

It's more or less a cardboard 'sleeve' from what I could tell just feeling them out. Codes on the back are all the same unfortunately.

The original pictures from months back showed a Witch Hunter, Tempestus Scion, Beakie Marine and a Normal Space Marine, which I would have assumed would be a different series - but the Grey Knight and Interccessor seem like they weren't shown in any preview pictures unless I just missed it, and the Intercessor is in the same pose as the Normal Space Marine was shown. I can't find any mention anywhere of those others beyond those initial preview photos. Was the lineup changed?

Did they all feel the same because of that, then? Or is there still slight differences and it's just difficult to tell?

I handed all five that I checked out to someone, and he only got one set of duplicates...they all felt the same or so close it wasn't even a thing.

I don't remember ever seeing a Witch Hunter or Scion though when these got announced(I think it was at NY Toy Fair?).

It is cardboard rolled up as a tube. So you might be able to feel differences in the feet and head parts, but I'm a very handsy person and I couldn't tell.

Got an Eversor in my first bag, though The second one was an Intercessor, which is actually smaller than the assassin. I toyed with the idea of giving him Terminator or some other SM legs, but my brother told me it was against his Anime fangirl beliefs to convert collectable figures. Might still do it, though.

I think we've basically seen different line-ups at every preview so far. At different moments, different figures were shown in different colours (which at first I thought indicated something, but clearly it didn't). So.. yeah.

Not only that, but Bandai are also going to be producing a series of smaller figures in the Chibi style!*** These are going to be 2-inch-tall figures based on some of the Imperium’s greatest defenders – an Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor, an Eversor Assassin, a Sister of Battle, a Skitarii Ranger and a Space Marine. These diminutive heroes might seem a bit unusual to those not familiar with them, but in Japan these little guys are everywhere and a fun way to introduce more people to our great Warhammer community. For the rest of us, it’s another cool way to adorn your desk, shelf or cabinet.

All of these figures are going to be available worldwide and you’ll be able to see them for the first time this weekend! Not only will we have them at Warhammer Fest, but they’ll also be on display at Games Workshop’s stand at the Shizuoka Hobby Show in Japan.

So...how long until a Dark Souls style Warhammer game?
I'm just saying, Bandai also owns that, so GW can do what they did with CA and give Bandai permission to throw those together.

I'll check when I get back home. Better: I'll take proper pictures of the whole packaging and let smarter/less tired people check it out and determine if there's an identifier somewhere.

Now I really want that Scion, though. And the Skitarii and sister, but getting those should be easy

Set it during the End Times, and GW should honestly have no problem. Like how Total Warhammer happened. Though, with The Old World returning, they may be more protective about their IP (Though this could be a great way to get hypeeeee)

Probably depends on whether the license is purely with Bandai the subsidiary company or with Bandai Namco Holdings.

Is there some sort of rarity for the different ones released so far, or are they all pretty much the same? Bought 4 and got 2 Eversor and 2 Battle Sisters with mine.

The cardboard in the packaging really means there's pretty much no chance of figuring out what there is inside. The ones I chose seemed slightly different weights but that doesn't really help too much.

The local Warhammer store here says there's 5 complete sets per box. They keep posting that 5 people should get together and buy a full box to split.

Bought 2 more earlier, and got a Grey Knight and an Intercessor. So I've now bought 6 total, and got 4 different ones. The Cardboard means its very difficult to figure out what you might get from just feel, but it seems like you might be able to get a general idea via just the size. The grey knight seems considerably more bulky than the one with the Intercessor (as both its legs and backpack stick out) and the size of the packet with the Intercessor is noticeably different than the Eversor and Battle sister, so there's at least a vague indication that way. I have no idea about the Skiitari though.

I'd like to get my hands on those Primaris Dreadknights behind the chibis!

Although, I may actually get these if they aren't too badly priced.

They were half that price if you had gotten in on the GW preorders, though.

Most likely actually release month barring delay. Bandai Tamashi figures release last day of the month too, so probably 2 weeks after for the US release of the GW preorders.

That needs to be canon.

Dumb question.
I'm really interested in the giant marine. Found them for like $215 from another supplier with a "shipping date" of March. This legit?
Looks like a reasonable time, is that an ok price or should I keep looking?
Thanks!

UK

It was a production run of 9000+ units which sold out almost immediately it went online

Spoiler:

this was the original preorder tease so march seems a bit early but not impossible if they're running a bit ahead (since they sold out fast they could have gone to production earlier than initially planned)

retail cost was £75 in the UK, and I think $100 in the US so your being charged a significant mark up (unless the seller in in Australia as it was $210 there?), but I suspect anywhere that's offering them will be doing the same
