That is pretty awesome! I still have the cardboard and cards and stuff for my copy, but all the figures seem to have wandered off

Yeah, funny thing is, it was one of our regulars who has been coming in for years that donated it. Turns out her brother is about my age (40) and this had been stuck in the attic for ages.
Heck, my original copy the dice wore out pretty quickly. these look fresh as the day they were printed!
Honestly couldn't pay 50p for it. even the character sheets are untouched.
Told my colleagues (much to their amusement) " The only way this is leaving the shop is in my hands!"

That's amazing. Great find (well, great luck by the sounds of it).
And nicely done paying a decent amount for it. Easily approaching 3 figures on eBay for a good copy like that. Good deal for you and for the shop (the thought of someone picking it up for 50p makes me sad!).

What a truly gorgeous find
Fair play for giving over the 20 quid.
50p would have been bargain of the decade It looks pristine condition?

Got one of those for about 2quid. At time did not know exactly how much it cost, so got it on a whim.
Checked it out quickly. Later realised it was near 95+% intact, only minor damage and odd missing bit.
Also got some 2nd edition termites free because they threw out remains of the space hulk. Rest was trash but I was one who managed used to check our specialist games.
