Hello guys!
I am close to have my very first 40k game with my brand new Black Legion army (and my first game using 8th ed) and your feedback would be very appreciated. I basically used everything I have at the moment. If it can help for your C&C, I may change a couple of thing below by Abaddon and 5-6 Rubrics as I also have them.
Here it is:

Honestly, it looks pretty decent. You have a respectable amount of tools to deal with most situations. And you know to mark your Oblits Slaanesh, as they always should be.

As you look into expanding, there are a few areas that I would keep an eye out for.

The big thing is there is a disconnect between your primary hitters, and your support pieces. Both your Chaos Lord, and your Master of Possession are relatively slow pieces, being infantry mounted with no real access to transportation. Your primary hitters are fast moving daemon engines- Mauler Fiend and Venomcrawler. This means that it is very feasible that your units will be out of range of the aura's you want them in. Namely the +1 Save from Cursed Earth, and the re-roll 1s aura from the Chaos Lord. While the Obliterators will keep pace well with your characters, bear in mind their 24 inch range.

You can address some of these issues by looking into more mobile choices for your HQ selection, Winged Daemon Prince, Jump Pack Chaos Lord / Sorcerer, or the Lord Discordant. Of those outlined above, a Daemon Prince would be the best choice. It hits harder than the Lord, it is fast enough to keep up with your Daemon Engines, You can give him Warptime, which can be used to help your Master of Possession keep up, or slingshot one of your Daemon Engines at an unsuspecting target. For your current list, I would swap out the Chaos Lord with a Sorcerer at the very least. Prescience is a fantastic buff for Obliterators or your Chain Cannons, Warptime as noted above, and you can even look into a durability spell, like Weaver of Fates, or Delightful Agonies to stack on your Daemon Engines and make them even more durable. The Dark Hereticus Discipline is very good.

I would also look into getting a Defiler. Armed with a Deflier Scourge and a Reaper Auto Cannon he is dirt cheap, and significantly beefier than the Maulerfiend or Venomcrawler. He can also shoot better than either of them and is slightly slower, so he is more comfortable hanging around the Master of Possession. He makes a good bullet sponge and if you can get your opponents attention with them he can take a lot of pressure off of smaller Daemon Engines, etc.

EDIT: One bit of advice when playing with a Daemon Engine heavy list. You need to play aggressively. Your giant robots are not as durable as they look. Get them into your opponents face and force your opponent to react to your movement. It is always better to err on the side of aggression and force your opponent to react to you. Good luck out there!

Agree with akaean.

You pull a nice friendly list with decent damage output.
At 1k point, abandon is too expensive for what he does, as he mainly serves as a buffer which becomes a lot better when using a larger army (cultists blobs, CSM blobs etc.).
Ideally, you could ditch the greater possessed and buy a rhino for your chain cannons, as 24 inch range is not superb, and it would keep the CSM safe + give more threat saturation, so it is the mauler fiend/deflier, venom crawler + rhino with CSM pushing up the board.
If you have the bits, ditch the thunder hammer on the lord + the eye of the night, and go with jump pack + the teeth or gloriesvex + flames of spite. You now have a very deadly and mobile chain lord.

One other thing to consider is running a Chaos lord on a Steed of some variety.

You can run a Chaos Lord on a Juggernaut, which is an easy conversion to do from the Age of Sigmar Kit "Lord of Khorne on a Juggernaut". Basically slap a backpack on him, and maybe a weapon swap and ditch the shield arm for whatever ranged weapon you like. Disk of Tzeentch is also a pretty easy conversion- seeing as you just place your Chaos lord on another model's disk. GW also used to have a really cool looking fantasy lord on a Steed of Slaanesh, although that appears to be out of production now.

You need the Chaos Index to run the steeds. But they have a few perks. Namely, they still give out the lord aura of re-roll 1s. They are a bit faster... although the Juggernaut isn't that fast. The big benefit for your list would be that you gain the Daemon keyword on your Chaos Lord. This means your Chaos Lord can now benefit from the Greater Possessed's aura, Cursed Earth, etc.

Thanks for your precious feedbacks guys!

At the moment I have nothing else than what is listed above, so my first try will be like this. I know my mauler/venom will have short lifes unfortunately... I guess deployment will be the key.

I ordered some more things to improve my Legion step-by-step: a Demon Prince, a Lord Discordant, a Sorcerer, 20+ Bloodletters and some Havocs.

Actually don't be afraid to switch out some traits etc.

DP's are probably one of the most solid units CSM ever had, that and oblits which sadly got a price hike to the knee.

GW:"Space marines got too many options to balance, therefore we decided to legends HH units."
Players: "why?!? Now we finally got decent plastic kits and you cut them?"
Chaos marines players: "Since when are Daemonengines 30k models and why do i have NO droppods now?"
GW" MONEY.... erm i meant TOO MANY OPTIONS (to resell your army to you again by disalowing former units)! Do you want specific tyranid fighiting Primaris? Even a new sabotage lieutnant!"
Chaos players: Guess i stop playing or go to HH.

Hello Swiss brother
Do you mean the trait I have chosen for my warlord is not good enough?
I was hesitating... I also like the one that gives reroll of 1s on psychic tests for the MoP...

Rare enough to find one or two of us.

Na i meant literally the legion / warband traits aswell as Commander traits.
There are a lot of options and combinations now thanks to vigilus ablaze, toying around in general and using a selfmade paintscheme allows for greater flexibility.
