Hey DakkaDakka, I've been a long time lurker, and recently returned to the hobby after around a 10 year break!

I wanted to show off some of my recent Anvil Industries models, as I've been blown away by the diversity of the range and thought you guys might like to see how the parts look.

Apologies for the not great photo quality, still working on a better setup.

My first batch was a bunch of modern day PMC types.

Followed by a SWAT team

SG1 took to the field shortly after.

We had some ODST's drop in from orbit.

A mix match of a present day spec-ops type, two UNSC Marines and a escaped convict inspired by the division.

Two more Division Inspired Agents

My latest Division Agent

next up is some more civilian/Division inspired goons.

After having a lot of fun, I remembered my good old Imperial Guard days, so I raided the bitzbox to cobble together a killteam from what I had available, I'd love to run these guys in a narrative campaign eventually.

Thanks for checking this out! If you have any feedback or ideas, I'd love some ideas for the next batch!

Looking good.

Have you seen their new renegade line?
In wave two a Spikey helmets added and the boilersuits would make for a nice bunch of worker Mobs.

A Mostly Renegades and Heretics blog.
GW:"Space marines got too many options to balance, therefore we decided to legends HH units."
Players: "why?!? Now we finally got decent plastic kits and you cut them?"
Chaos marines players: "Since when are Daemonengines 30k models and why do i have NO droppods now?"
GW" MONEY.... erm i meant TOO MANY OPTIONS (to resell your army to you again by disalowing former units)! Do you want specific tyranid fighiting Primaris? Even a new sabotage lieutnant!"
Chaos players: Guess i stop playing or go to HH.

Great stuff. I’m a huge fan of Anvil, myself. I have a few of their old discontinued Republic Grenadiers in my IG army, as well as using their helmets for my Drop Troops. I love the diversity of models you’ve painted here and your quality is very good. The tattoos and face stubble are top notch. Thanks for showing how they look painted.

I love the renegade stuff! was actually thinking of either building a Lovecraft inspired GSC, or using them for some fallout inspired raiders!

Thanks for the feedback! I love your drop troops, so jealous of the Afterlife heads, they have a great command and conquer GDI vibe! Have you seen the new Grav chutes anvil are working on?
Glad you liked the tattoos and stubble!

Wezex,

I haven’t seen the grav chutes. Where can I find a preview? I’m always stalking eBay to get a few more Elysian models but the prices are getjting crazy. I’m already incorporating quite a few Anvil models and bits so if they do grav chutes they probably have a better chance of meshing.

Via Anvil's Instagram https://www.instagram.com/p/BzcuT8lHgML/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link They look pretty decent I think, plus as you said, Elysians are becoming so expensive second hand, it's a solid replacement!

Wezex, thanks. The one on the left especially has some nice similarities to the Elysian model. I think I will have to try some out if I want to expand my Drop Troops very much. I just saw a single pack of ten FW grav chutes on eBay for $56 plus $22 shipping! Seriously, who is paying $8 per tiny grav chute?

Thanks again for the heads up.

Some really cool models on show here, and solid paint work as well. The latest Division agent looks great!

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback, it's been a bit crazy, had a few rabbits to look after which delayed my work.
So far I've managed to complete a few models.

I was thinking of painting this guy as some sort of bounty hunter at first, then a cultist, but i'm glad i thought of this first as I've been a huge Harley fan since the animated series.

Adding to the Division project I present a man with grenade launcher, wasn't enjoying this guy but he didn't turn out too badly.

Next up is a trio to Accompany my HQ ganger, another red and black lunatic and two guys i thought might look good as local security?

Finally i got my hands on some of the Vanguard Infiltrators, these were a challenge as I've never painted marines or done many edge highlights like this, plus painting black was a pain, paint style was shamelessly stolen from Deathstroke.
