Hey all anybody play any iPad or phone games 40k related and are good? I struggle to find good ones.

Now ask me if I've played any tablet or phone game that's good. (...Ports of Xbox/PC games? KotOR/XCom are good...)

Balanced Game: Noun. A game in which all options and choices are worth using.

I still kill time playing Deathwatch: Tyranid invasion.

I liked the BFG port, but sadly they don’t support it on the ipad anymore. Lost it in an upgrade a while back.

I don't know, but anything on a phone or pad is an app

Tap on screen to have shiny flashes, coins and cool noises is not really gameplay IMO....

Now to be helpful: check out the playstore/ iPhone equivalent. I believe there's some 40k "games" on mobile. I think they are some sort of turn based type of thing. Probably cantered around marines squad because GW loves their marines.

I've enjoyed both Warhammer Quest and to a lesser degree, Freeblade (the Knight game).

The BFG game was great, I didn't realize though that is wasn't working anymore - guess its been a while since I played it.

It never ends well

I've tried a few and they all stink.
Warhammer quest is almost ok, but it's missing quite a bit from the old board game.
Some space wolf game that was just terrible.
And a space hulk - x-com wanna-be game that fell way short.

We're gonna need another Timmy!

Templar battle force isn't an official GW game but is clearly meant to be about marines on a space hulk infested with nids. It's a great turn based strategy where you build a team of 'templars' over the missions and it has decent dialogue too.

Really enjoyed Warhammer Quest - many a good hour spent playing it and captured the feel of the old world quite well.
Wasnt perfect but virtually no mobile/ipad game is.

I'd recommend picking up a laptop or PC if you want to play some excellent 40k games - DoW series, Space Marine, Space Hulk.
Fantasy then has Vermintide, Bloodbowl, SotHR etc.

I played the wh40k mobile card game for a few weeks but quit cuz its ultra boring and pay to win.

Played the horus heresy mobile game and quit because it favored loyalist and it was ultra pay to win.

Played freeblade, the space wolf tactical card game, not sure what else i played but its all pay to win.

I prefer to play 40k video games on a computer. Although I tried to find at least one good strategy game for my phone, but unfortunately I failed. Most of the strategy games on the phone are tied to the purchase of a special game currency. At least popular games like clash of clans, king of thieves, simcity work that way. But I can't say that all the games on the phone are just terrible. The games from the Rockstar studio are not free, but they are still very high quality. Although it is not always necessary to download everything from official sources, gta can also be downloaded from https://gta5mobi.net/. I still think it's much better and more enjoyable to play games from a computer or console than from a phone.

Personally, I have not found a single high-quality strategy game on the phone. Of course, there are a huge number of games where you need to build your kingdom, city or even a farm, but each of these games is built on the purchase of game currency and playing such games is not particularly interesting.

XCom 2 is available on your phone. Of course, since this is the actual, full game, it's not free. But it is a good strategy game. I picked up the first game earlier on my tablet, but I don't see it available right now in the store for my phone. I don't know whether that's because it got pulled, or it's only available on tablets.

The only good free strategy games on mobile devices are the timeless classics such as chess or go.
