Yes.

The F-111 oddly looks slightly better as the EF-111, but it's a "inoffensive...but boring" plane to me. nothing particularly stunning to look at. My father did some WSO time a normal F-111 when he transitioned to the AF before leaving the flight line.


The F-111 was, however, a world-beating plane that we abandoned way too early for budget reasons. Huge loss of capability.

The side-by-side pilot configuration really kills the F-111 for me.....

Maybe the enemies in this new film can be Iranian instead of North Koreans now?

It's no longer in existence...but if anyone was lucky enough to be part of the MilitaryPhotos.net thread that erupted when Iran promoted that fiberglass tub they called a 5th generation fighter...it was internet legendary levels of hilarity.

One of my fonder memories from an internet forum. Watching people absolutely obliterate that piece while Iran-Stronk fanboys were declaring aerial superiority over the rest of the civilized world, etc. Beautiful.
