I bought the HH ebook bundle last time. But I never have a chance to read. (And probably shouldn't read Ebooks, given my degenerating eyesight).

Will buy tonight and listen.

If you get yourself a proper e-reader like a kindle (the paperwhites have backlights built in) you can change the font size to whatever is comfortable for you. Plus with the backlight it can take a lot of strain off your eyes in seeing the text clearly. If anything it should be better than reading a real book because real books you can only magnify with glasses.

The books were already a good deal. That many audio books though? Hot damn. I think I’ll need to get a cheap-o MP3 player for those (do they still even MAKE those?).

Well, I threw in the last time they did a BL deal, and I haven't regretted that decision. Only problem is that I already have some of those books from the last time. Hmm.

Edit: turns out Audible’s return policy is really good!

Yes - if you look on Amazon there are loads direct from China. I got one for £0.59 (just needed an SD card) for the gym - only downside is it took about 8 weeks to arrive!

Just a heads up, the current basic version of a kindle also has a backlight!

Great deal for audiobooks. My wife is obsessed with them, she is always listening to something while doing the housework, cooking, etc.

I gave them a go last year and enjoyed it while driving. It made the time go by much quicker than I expected.

The audio dramas are really cool too, they remind me of the old time radio shows.

Perfect timing. I just moved my workspace into the basement to get it away from the baby’s hands and don’t have a tv for background noise down there. Just started Vulkan Lives as my first ever Audio Book so I can add a ton to the list!
