Hello to all
I somehow stumbled upon the information that three Maleceptors once defeated Mephiston and made him lose consciousness. Does anyone know if this is true? And if you give, can you please tell me where it came from or give a quote?

I AM A MARINE PLAYER

"Unimaginably ancient xenos artefact somewhere on the planet, hive fleet poised above our heads, hidden 'stealer broods making an early start....and now a bloody Chaos cult crawling out of the woodwork just in case we were bored. Welcome to my world, Ciaphas."
Inquisitor Amberley Vail, Ordo Xenos

"I will admit that some Primachs like Russ or Horus could have a chance against an unarmed 12 year old novice but, a full Battle Sister??!! One to one? In close combat? Perhaps three Primarchs fighting together... but just one Primarch?" da001

A Malceptor in the fluff is able to make multiple guardsmen and scion heads litteraly explode without any effort in the first book. Havent read the second though, but the first book gives good account of the Militarium Tempestus. They are hardened both physicially and mentally. A Tempestor was able to lead his scions to exterminate all the genestealers infesting some small town including a lictor which ambushed them. Later on he personally killed the broodlord with a little trick hes used to kill xeno warlords of all kinds. They are pretty badass and the into of that book showed them in their full glory.

That turned a little off-topic, but it still stands.

Which book now?

If the truth can destroy it, then it deserves to be destroyed.

I found
''Though Mephiston did not fall, his power was broken. As powerful as the Chief Librarian was, his abilities were like a candle held against the fires of a star when compared with the enormous power of the Hive Mind.''

It's nice to know that at least something can stop Mephiston against the background of all his exploits that surpass even the exploits of Magnus and against the background of spoilers from a new book, where the level of power of Mephiston becomes completely unbelievable

Leviathan, first book from the Shield of Baal campaign.

Its some spectacularly good fluff for all the factions involved and considerably better than whats coming out now only 5 years later.
