Those rules seem rather fun!
Wonder if we might see another pair of plastic weapon expansions drop at the same time?

Nacht-Ghuls free innate skill is the worse or better version of infiltrate depend on scenario. Also free up the slot to take other skills. Psy Gheist and Spektor are powerful and probably won't be cheap.

It will almost always be better than Infiltrate.
I don't love the idea of auto-charging champions (who don't have to deal with the opportunity cost of taking the Infiltrate skill). That's getting into NPE territory.
Especially if Delaque retain access to abilities/items that permanently instigate the Pitch Black condition, which was already an NPE botch.

Depends on the move of the Nacht Gul. If they have a move of 5", that means there's a risk as they have to start at least 6" away. Ignore me, I'm talking nonsense. If they are stupidly slow (unlikely) with M4, then maybe, but they'll be appearing out of nowhere to shred heavy weapon wielders. Also - NPE?

I kind of forget the nitty gritty of Necromunda measuring rules. If the geists have to start 6.000000001" away from an enemy, maybe that means they only have a 2/3 chance of success while charging, since rolling a 1-2 on the charge D3 would not allow them to make B2B contact?
NPE = "negative play experience," kind of a flexible term for rules that generate animus, often for psychological reasons, often because they allow no counterplay. A common example would be an ability that makes your opponent reroll a successful result (vs. an ability that lets you reroll your own failed result, which doesn't feel as bad for your opponent).

Thanks for that. Also, there's no pre-measuring in Necromunda but that conflicts with the need to be at least 6" away. I have a feeling overwatch will rapidly climb the desirable skill ladder when facing Delaque... Edit: they're also placed before a roll for priority. So, there's at least a risk there that you fail the priority role leaving them vulnerable to a counterplay of some sort.

They don't need to charge, they can throw grenade and demo charge, which has always been the combo with infiltrate.

If they can have grenades. These things look like they don't have guns, so they may be knifey-knifey-sneaky-guys with no ranged potential.

Grenade are wargear and not weapons. Anyone can take wargear is a universal rule so far, even for strict melee fighter in Corpse Grinder cult. You'd be better off to use the (probably) cheaper Delaque champs for "ultility infiltrate bombing" with smoke or photon flash. Also since demo charge have the very high rarity rating, the most common grenade will be blasting or incen charge, just don't play on 2d Zone mortalis and avoid grouping up for an easy group blind/pinned/kill "infiltrate bombing".

Grenadefiltrators are pretty easy to counter. If you want to infiltrate and shoot it's better to build towards a hip shooting webgun (which is still amazing even before you unlock the second skill).
A glass cannon melee infiltrator is something new (although Delaque can make a [possibly] lesser version of that already... but it costs a skill, you're stuck predictably arriving on the first turn, and your weapons may not be as good as the claws/sword).

Blasting charge is much cheaper than webgun. Even demo charge is cheaper, Grenade are always great extra backup and utility for infiltrator or strict melee user, for the new champ it will be at 12" + 5" blast range, much longer than a template weapon, and charging isn't always a good choice because of many thing that counter it, and give you the option to deploy further into more favorable position. Not sure about glass cannon part, i'm certain they'll be at least 2W, making them much tougher than the GSC champ, (who invented the strat in the first place) There're also Delaque skill and specialty, and known cunning skill like evade that will make them tougher the poor 1W GSC acolyte.

Problem with Infiltrate (and all similar effects like From the Shadows) is it breaks several scenarios. It's also wonky when combined with pets (without Infiltrate). There's no mechanic to make it universally compatible with the rest of the game. 1 or 2 free moves at the start of the game would be a much better alternative. Instead of fixing this problem, GW make more Infiltrate effects.

Does anyone know if we're going to get the weapons kit for the other gangs? I mean in plastic, not FW stuff. I haven't followed warhammer community and I don't remember if I've already asked. Sorry if I did.
But I'd like to know, as I own 4 different 10 man gangs and I'd like to expand them with 10 additional bodies and the extra weapons but only if ALL gangs are getting the weapons upgrades, not just Goliath and Escher.

Unless GW cut funding for the game it is certain all gang will get weapon pack, can't say the same for Corpse Grinder and Enforcer.

Any rumors on the new gang? I'm only superficially familiar with Necromunda so don't recall if all the classic gangs have come out again already.

Nothing so far.
At the moment, there’s no Gang without models - though Genestealer Cult and Chaos Cultists don’t have specifically Necromunda models.
We have seen a couple of likely GSC things pop up in the Rumour Engine, so they are a possibility I suppose - but I suspect they’re for 40K.
It could be Ratskins, Scavvies or Spyrers from the original era, as they remain outstanding.

Why are Necromunda and Underworlds given a roadmap and not other games? Are they GW's top selling games or something?
Any ideas what the new gang is?

Wild speculation here but...
What if they use the opportunity to make an "ex-military" gang and release Necromundan Spyder models that can double up as some new Guard kits?

Looks like you're unfortunately out of luck on that...the three pictured are Orlock, Van Saar, and Cawdor.
There seems to be a significant lag time between the "House of" books and their upgrades.

Too economically smart for GW, but does fit with the thing no one asked for but the studio gave us anyways.
I'd guess scavvies, ash waste nomads or another chaos gang. Maybe some void pirates. What if a full squat gang...
I will guess a new box set though with new gang(s). Maybe a bit more humble version of Dark Uprising but with the terrain being old and the gangs being new...
