Reckon we’ll see weapon packs for Palanites and Corpse Grinders?

Are any of the Palinite or Grinder weapons missing from plastic?

On the New Gang front - interesting. The only thing I can think of being likely from the original is Ratskins - Cawdor seem to have stolen the Scavy look, and there are a lot of nobles down hive who don't have Spyrer rigs - I think the Spyrers may be gone for good.

GW is never going to make an updated trading post. I made one myself, it's 13 pages long...

If memory serves, and sadly I cannot offer citation, there was talk of a Brat Gang, uphive youths come to annoy the Underhivers. Things like jet bikes and sky boards etc right when we first heard about this version of Necromunda.

I think they were to include or possibly replace Spyrer. Someone with a better memory might be able to clarify.

Yeah, Brats would be cool but the Van Saar have nicked their power boards.

I’d be more in favour of a Gang that can have Spyre Rigs as Champion types and take part in the general campaign shenanigans than plain old “we’re only here for the fighting” Spyrers of old.

Blood cults are at least missing chain glaive and flamer, I think there are one or two I'm forgetting right now. Palanites should have everything if I remember correctly.

Playing mostly Necromunda and Battletech, Malifaux is awesome too!

Weapon Kits can also be about providing more of the same, so you can arm your Gang as you wish.

Brat Gangs were part of confrontation so they're certainly possible.

Could also be dedicated models for Ventators or GSC.

Ratskins, Scavies, Pit Slaves... Anyone else out standing?

Any of those three would be warmly welcome.

With all due respect, Baxx, that is Underworlds which I did mention in my previous post. I've misread posts myself so don't worry.

On a happy note, I just got back from Alpha Games in Stanton( Bury St Edmunds area ) and they still have two copies of Necromunda: Underhive for £67.50. Was tempted to treat myself as I prefer the two gangs but sadly the rules aren't valid anymore. I did, however, wonder if it would be an ideal set to complement Stargrave or 5-Parsecs...

Casual gaming, mostly solo-coop these days.

I'd want one for the Ogryn first.

Pretty sure this was Andy H on one of the various Warhammer tv Necromunda shows. Mentioned how he'd like to do Brats at some point and talked about how it'd be cool to have them speeding about on their jetbikes

New gang, aye. Pit slaves? Spyrers? Ash Waste Nomads? Ratskins? Scavvies?

Personally, I’m going with Scavvies. Not enough mutants in the hive. Maybe even see plague zombies and Karloth

I’m not convinced that by their nature, Venators, GSC or Chaos Cultists really need a specific Necromunda release.

Sure, it would be welcome all the same, but in terms of SG’s relatively limited resources, and wanting to sell Necromunda and not 40K, I just don’t see it happening.

Scavvies hopefully. Still mad that they made these terrible corpse grinders befire then

Corpse Grinder cult could use some new sculpt for the Initiate, one of the most valuable fighter in the game.

GSC already have an extensive 40k range with multiple kits and character, plus AM and other gang's weaponry/model because they're known to steal weapons and Genestealer infestation.

Hopefully new edition in quarter 4. With the Delaque book out, that should wrap up this edition.

Hah… are you implying that the new gang referred to in the road map is Escher again for the next edition?

I wasn’t but wouldn’t maybe one ir two new gangs make an excellent new edition launch box? Heck, they could sell them for $500 each and only print a couple thousand to keep the fomo cranking.

Sorry - I misread posts too!

Looking forward to have all 6 gangs on the same 2020-2021 level. Not looking forward to any more new content at all. We got 12 gangs, that's more than enough. The best way forward now is to get all the weapon packs out. And maybe when that's done, it will be a good time to build a gang and start playing?

They all desperately need rules to put them on the same playing field as the other gangs, though. I'd rather have 9 full-fledged gangs than 6 actual gangs and a few that are only 3/4 of the way there. If they want to release them all in the same book again, cool.

Chaos gang can play fine with any other gang, they have cheap familiar, cheap fighters, cheap champs, demo charge and cunning primary. Chaos familiar is busted.

GSC only need minor stat adjustment, as they also have the busted familiar.

Venator could use a dual release with bounty hunter kit with load of option like the old arcane wizards kits, and some minor rule adjustment, BH kits didn't need lots of models since the gangs is pretty much take anything you want and combine multiple gangs together.

I must say that I love previews like this new Necromunda roadmap*:

1. Something we've already told you about.
2. Something that was already assumed.
3. "We will also release other new things for this product line!". Shocker.

Their Champions need more wounds.

Given “new edition” and “gangs 3.0” are practically memes already, yes, it might actually be a shocker. To some people at least.

Yeah, pretty much a waste of time. At least they announced there will be a new gang

Nothing so far.

At the moment, there’s no Gang without models - though Genestealer Cult and Chaos Cultists don’t have specifically Necromunda models.

We have seen a couple of likely GSC things pop up in the Rumour Engine, so they are a possibility I suppose - but I suspect they’re for 40K.

It could be Ratskins, Scavvies or Spyrers from the original era, as they remain outstanding.

I'd be surprised to see ratskins. Might be a bit too controversial in our current era
