I believe they clarified the rule in the UK the other year that companies have to honour a transaction if the price is what someone could reasonably expect. So if a brand new £5,000 top-end TV accidentally got listed for £50, they could cancel, because no-one would reasonably believe that was the right price. But if they accidentally put it up as £3,000, they’d probably have to honour it, as 40% discount is well within the realm of what you could expect for online retailers or a sale.

Then y'all out of luck, all UK judges know you can't reasonably expect 3 FW models for $18

Looks nothing like the art and I don’t like the paint job, but I think I like the model underneath.

It's the cat snout. That's what's throwing it off.

If they'd kept the original face it might work better:

I think I'll continue with my Vargskyr conversion, still not like the artwork but the composition of the official model is just to off, the transition from scales to skin/fur is far to jarring.

Also wondering if these previews are filling up space to distract us from the lack of a plastic release?

Or to put us off the scent of a new edition boxed set.

I liked it until I noticed the bow! Still, an easy enough fix.

It's very differnet from the art but very similar in style to the phyrecats in sculpt - I wonder if its the same designer who isn't being given the same reference art or is perhaps running on verbal descriptions instead.

Not 100% sure about the bow either, but I think if its given a darker/mature style of painting its really going to shine overall as a model and its great to get it coming out for Escher! I think the bow and collar chain are kind of leaning a bit into Suicide squad and they do make the beast look more "owned" than phyrrcats and the mini-cats that they released before which are more wild beasts without clear signs of being domesticated (or at least tamed) by Escher

Love the concept art but not sure about the sculpt itself. Its okish I guess but the concept is amazing.

It’s very Rogue Trader. Not entirely sold on the bow, but a lovely gribbly nasty.

The bow is the best thing about it.
Otherwise its a fairly boring monster.

I hope it has an alternate head. That one is just disappointing.

I'm not a fan of the muscle bound knuckle dragger look. I think a big part of it is that in the art its the middle appendages that are arms, and for this model they made the front pair the arms, and it was given more human musculature to those front shoulders. That makes it less of a very alien cat and more of a centaur looking thing. This verges on feeling chaos rather than alien.

More like they're working hard to catch up the huge delay in FW releases.

Good that we are finally seeing these brutes, honestly.

Don't mind the bow too much; my gang leader (based on the Belladonna bounty hunter) wears a bow in her hair, so that could be neat thing to tie them together.

Other than that, it's really a sculpt I can't wait to see with a different paintjob. I appreciate it's a chimera of sorts, but it feels far too disjointed at present, a more unifying or complementary colour scheme might save it. Now, it might as well be a Chaos spawn, just a vibrantly coloured mess. Wasn't sold on the concept art (unlike the phyrr cats, wish those matched better), but the new take isn't great either. Shame.

I like the sculpt for the most part. The transition from fur to scale doesn't quite do it for me and that bow is awful. The paint job is well executed, but I don't like the color choices. I'm gonna stick with my plans to use the Shiranx.

As for as the nose and the scale/fur transition, I figure different khimerix would have some different features... based on the skill of the Escher engineering/breeding them as well as random dan stuff.

Something else, that compact pose is nice for gaming, eh?

I wonder if it'll be the same price as those tiny birds?

We are getting more plastic soon. There's a bunch of forge world drops too now. I think maybe this is playing catchup for the pandemic. I hope it's not a sneaky new edition.

If it weren't FW I'd be up for it. Nice model, minus the bow which looks a bit odd.

I think with different skin that could look good, the model underneath may well be pretty good.
But I’m just not sure on the paint scheme.
