I started working on the Sanguinor model this afternoon... I find it really easy to work with but you have to do more work! Filling tiny air bubbles and scraping supports off is tedious.

As the dragons a rather simple sculpt to paint (it's just big) I've decided to do the challengers for the boss fight a stereotypical RPG group as well.

Made some good progress this weekend, almost finished the blue and nearly finished base coating the other colours. As always feedback is very much welcome and appreciated.

Current WIP. Tried to do a zenithal undercoat and I’m not sure if I like how it turned out on the skin. Still have a ways to go but definitely ahead of schedule.

Zenithal isn't really best for skin as you're unlikely to be shading skin wihh black. (unless it's grey skin or super high contrast.)

WIP on Calas. Almost there. Got his helmet to finish, a few touch ups and some work on his base to go.

That base looks awesome QAR, sets a really nice scene.

He's not especially big, but Chaplains are bosses. Particularly those in chapters of Blood Angels lineage.

My bitz seller never came through with parts for my prefered project so entering this dark imperium chaos lord instead!

In deference to my normal style, this model will go heavy on the weathering and special effects!

I was looking for the BA shoulder pads with the winged droplet, sort of like the retro transfers I'm sure it's the deathwatch pads but they get expensive when you buy loads so also noticed these etches and thought they looked like the 2nd ed BA icon
