How can a Skaven Clan Pestilens army of 2,000 points harness the full fury of Maggotkin Of Nurgle Contagion Point summoning in only 400 points of Allies?
Would that include Hero/Heroes and Feculent Gnarlmaws?

I'll have to check my book but I think you need to be Nurgle Alegiance to collect and use them at all.

Could you run your rats as Nurgle instead? Or does the Pestilens buffs outweigh what Grandfather can provide?

You need to run the Pestilens with Nurgle Allegiance to use summoning at all. You can then summon everything listed on the summoning table in the Maggotkin of Nurgle battletome

Seeing that Pestilens no longer has Nurgle keyword on any warscrolls, that would mean the whole idea is a bust?

Hey Tom, we’ve played a few games together, so I’ll help you as someone who you know from Battlegrounds. Get Epidemius. He’s Finecast still, but he boosts all Nurgle attacks. Your Pestilens models absolutely still have the Mark of Nurgle. Which makes him an ally. Also allows Daemon Princes or any other Slaves to Darkness model with Mark of Nurgle or anything in the Maggotkin book to ally in. But bring Epidemius and watch your Pestilens get stronger for every kill they get.

The error is obviously mine. Rather, the confusion is mine.

Choas Battletome SKAVEN has each Warscroll listed WITHOUT the keyword NURGLE.

Time to print each and every SKAVEN warscroll on the GW site that is now listing that keyword and cut and paste them all into the "revised" Battletome?

Thank you. Parkinson's Disease is slowly turning my brain into tapioca pudding as well as causing the marked tremors that make moving over 100 PlagueMonks so slow.
