Greetings! So I just get my Techmarine in full resin and the head is forged with the body, I wanted to ask if anyone has experience with swapping the heads of models like this, especially if I try and swap it for a Blood Angel upgrade pack Helmet.
Any help is appreciated!

I’ve not done a head swap on that model.
One thing to consider is how much of a “swap” do you want. If you just want a new head on a model, and don’t care what happens to the old one, heads are pretty simple to work. Just clip, cut, and carve until the new head fits.
If you want to salvage the old one, things get a lot harder.

Thanks! It just seams like the helmet might not fit in the model as its deeper and wider, will I have to cut into other areas that is not the very head it self?

The techmarine which comes with servitors is pretty flat around the helmet area, so you might even be able to salvage the original one if you're very careful. Finecast cuts pretty easily with a standard craft knife, but watch your fingers (a rocking motion along the length of the blade will work more safely than strong pressure on the blade).
If it's the one with a bare/bionic head, I doubt that head can be salvaged. You'd need to hollow out where his head is to preserve that raised collar, which may or may not be big enough for a helmet. If not, you could trim the sides of the collar down level with the front, which may give enough space for a helmet. Don't forget to hollow out a space for the neck (a 3mm drill or some very careful dremmel work would do well).

Thanks its the second one, Which is a same wish I could have gotten a simple plastic one. Yes thanks, in my ignorance I might have just sniped the loose head's neck and stuck it on there :S.
I guess I'll just try my best at removing the head! Wish me luck!

As mentioned, it really depends of you want to preserve the head or not. If you don't, just snip it off then use a drillbit, I think around 2 or 2.5mm, to drill an indent for the new neckjoint, or use a dremel to just blend it out.
If you do can, I would suggest using a knife to score around the head, going at an angle so you're basically cutting an inverted pyramid or cone. It will take a long time.

Update if anyone is interested: I barley harvested the head (you never know when you'll need another head), after some cutting a drilling I got the head in a decent enough position trying to match the helmet grill to where the mouth use to be.
Thanks for all the help guys!
