So I finally picked up a Castellan and it's gonna be painted up as taranis to match my mars Admech.
But I'm finding conflicting answers. I watched the "painting a imperial knight" with Duncan which is coincidentally a taranis knight and he paints the shoulders black and a polished silver. But then codex pictures look more like a white.
So I'm confused if the shoulders are supposed to be black and silver, or black and white. Any help or insight would be great thanks!
Apparently silver vs white is a common argument among Taranis fans. See the article on Warhammer Community about the Taranis Owners Club

Alright. Sounds like going to go with white. Thanks for linking that article it was a pretty fun read. Whites a bit more of a pain but I'll live. Thanks again!

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Oh wow you're actually right! I was thinking I would paint a future knight with silver just to make them more unique in the group. But now there's some truth behind the idea. Yup, that's what I'm gonna do with a gallant
