While I am glad it seems like DKoK are still going to be supported through 9th, I'm a bit disheartened at the number of lines FW killed over the course of 8th. Ultimately when the models go, the rules normally follow.

FW seems to be gearing up for a bit of a shake after the 9th edition indexes hit. Lots of models have been disappearing over the last few weeks and I wouldn't be surprised if my two ranges (Mechanicum and DKoK) begin to disappear as we eventually move into 10th.

Such a shame to see Elysians and R&H go. R&H in particular were loads of fun to play against in a fluffy/narrative games. I am quietly confident that R&H will get more plastic models going forward - GW seem to have played with them a bit in Blackstone Fortress. Elysians I just can't see ever coming back unfortunately, which is a shame as my first two FW kits were a 10 man elysian squad and a resin Valkyrie.

Honestly I'd like a more mixed Chaos Army. Like where you could run a mob of Cultists or Traitors led by a single Chosen in the squad.

Though honestly? In Kill-Team, playing Servants of the Abyss is actually fun. Not super-effective, but fluffy fun.

SoA are indeed quite Fun in kt, and i Love my stubcarbine cultist leader, allways performs above and beyond.

I know in the previous MFM the corsair points weren't in their own section, but were merged into the FW section for Eldar - has it been confirmed this isn't the case this time around?

Not to my knowledge, the issue is, where do you Find r&h since last time they Ended up in the IG book .

And they've gone silent on those new Indexes.

I had a similar experience. I only got the boiler plate response to my repeated questions on why the Hellforged super heavys didn't have relentless like all other super heavys, then suddenly the rule was erated in the fall FAQ. Doesn't make their lack of response less aggravating.

Aswell as in general is up with FW....

During the stream when they were asked about the previewed FW book, they mentioned that they had pulled teams from FW 40k and moved them specialist games because their FW chapter and another line I can't remember weren't selling.

Most of the reasons why there were FW models for 40k in the first place have disappeared nowadays - large centerpiece models, super-heavies and awesome characters are now done in plastics, and design space for "moar tanks" has disappeared over the years with GW inflating codex choices. The one thing GW hasn't done themselves are large titans.

I think what we are looking at right now is GW slowly unwinding FW for 40k until all of the models have run out of print. Something like that would be very unwise to communicate officially.

I just hope that they create a proper Codex: Traitor Guard to replace what was lost.

Vice versa this situation right now isn't better for them.

Open and transparant communication goes a long way for custommer relations aswell.
