I keep meaning to play it but I barely have enough time for anything at the moment.

The new class is fairly exciting, my assumption is a Skitarii as that would offer a varied play style and some crazy guns.

Skitarii has been a class that has been on the community wishlist for a long, long time. Personally I'd wish the scum would implement other promised features already, or yeah, fix things, but of course not.

Oh yeah, current event is recover or destroy rations, on one hand I want to recover them so citizens aren’t hungry, on the other hand they’re clearly nurgle infected and heresy can’t be allowed, on the other secret sinister hand I want to see what happens if we infect the citizens more. Decisions decisions.

(I only wonder since apparently this will affect the plot somewhat according to devs, so curious to see what everyone else is doing as independent thought is scary)

I was recovering, but after Mister E, a Darktide youtuber who figures out all of the good builds that I use, pointed out that the green gas is very suspicious, I started destroying them. Saw the counter shift dramatically into "destroyed" that day as well.

We are working hard to resolve this and be ready for next week to showcase the new class in the light it deserves.

Some of the Darktide youtubers were predicting a "ganger" type class pretty heavily, so I'm not too surprised. They probably had an inside source.

I am kind of happy to see guns akimbo, as that was in Vermintide. Wonder if that's an ability or loadout that'll be available to other classes.

It also opens up all sorts of possibilities for customization in terms of visuals.

Game has dipped to mixed again on Steam, a quick skim reveals that people are pissed that the game is still broken and not getting a Skitarii class.

That said, seems the ganger will get the following weapons at the very least: auto pistol, needle pistol and stubgun, plus crowbar, shiv and cleaver on the melee front. Also Kal Jerico inspired hair if you get the deluxe edition.

While the criticism about the game stability and hitboxes (although it's not catastrophic as people believe it) are fair, review-bombing it just because the class reveal is not a Skitarii is a behavior only morons would engage in. Therefore, it's not surprising for gamer losers whose entirely personality is built around video games to engage in it.

Been playing it fairly heavily since the Arbites dropped, aside from stability issues which were largely patched out in my playthroughs, I don't even know what this hitbox issue is about.

I miss the early days of Siege. Before they went a bit nuts with all the new operators.

The Hivescum update looks cool. I definitely would have preferred a Skitarii, more opportunity for some ludicrous weapons and sweet outfits.
