Repentia post good numbers of the offense, but I don't really know any unit that can actually trade tit-for-tat at their price with marines except marines.

Guardsmen, hear me! Cadia may lie in ruin, but her proud people do not! For each brother and sister who gave their lives to Him as martyrs, we will reap a vengeance fiftyfold! Cadia may be no more, but will never be forgotten; our foes shall tremble in fear at the name, for their doom shall come from the barrels of Cadian guns, fired by Cadian hands! Forward, for vengeance and retribution, in His name and the names of our fallen comrades!

Orks have got it pretty good with massed killsaws.

IIRC a mob of five nobs with dual saws kills their points worth of intercessors on average in a round of combat. They have pretty reliable delivery systems via tellyporting, jumping and the various transport options as well, and I didn't factor in any exploding did for Goffs or DS rerolls.

Meganobs don't quite make their points back but will definitely earn their points value back a few times over thanks to their durability.

Smasha guns absolutely ruin multi wound, lower toughness models as well and are dirt cheap.

5 nobz with dual killsaws cost exactly like 4 meganobz with the same wargear. They have +4 attacks (average of 2 hits) but meganobz can rely on a stratagem that makes their killsaws damage 3 which is signficant against anything that isn't 2W or maybe 4W (with no FNP). In that scenario 4 meganobz will get more points back than the 5 nobz, tipycally meganobz outperform nobz by a large margin, but the latter is still a viable option of course. Meganobz can also hit on 3s if Tin 'Eadz.

New heavy intercessors seem tailor made for regular marine murdering.

Just played a game against Necron, he used the new datasheet for the Pratoreons. They wiped out a 10 man Primaris Intercessor squad in 1 turn. 2 dmg on shooting and attack is deadly.

But Praetorians have no inv. save and we don't know about the new RP.
I'd be careful to integrate them in a Necron army atm.

Hes been playing Necron's since 3rd edition, he has too many models. He basically can field anything he wants.
