I got £20 off for spending £100. Went for it because there's one or two web exclusives I'd wanted for a while: the inquisition Crusaders, and the Noise Marine with the ridiculous guitar gun thing. Mostly stocked up on Contrast paints other than those.

Yeah, I'm a little envious of those getting a 20% deal. Mine was only 10%.

There's even a countdown timer in the email so its unlikely a mistake. Which is good news because that means you CAN spend this on the Necron/Marine launch. So now you've a choice - 3rd party store or GW central.

Confirming I got the $25 for $170 offer again, extended until Saturday evening. Promptly sent to trash again. Why bother when the local store will give me 20% off on a Necron/Marine stuff preorder this weekend?

Aye, but anything direct from GW gets very little discount to stores so there's a body of models you can get with better than 3rd party store discount. It likely wont' be the new stuff, but might be something else

It’s farther away, but I do have another store I go to that does get direct order stuff into his store occasionally. So far, in the last few years, I think the only thing I HAD to get direct from GW was a copy of Fabius Bile Manflayer. This last Josh Reynolds Black Library book was not released in hard cover to third party sellers, and I had the previous two novels in hard cover. So far, model wise, I’ve never had the situation where I needed something so badly that was direct only. I’ve been able to do without, or pick it up from that ‘other’ store when I’ve been by.

I had to go look, since I ignored it the first time, and mine was $9 off of $65.

Which seems a bit weird/random

£6 off £40 for me. Thats a pass - still cheaper off other sites

Mine is $14 for $99 spent. Such odd amounts...

Getting them flgs possible yes. No discount and at least for me here easily month before flgs　gets them.

I put the order in for some gift cards because I realized that between the Crusade mission pack, Codex, dice, shard of the void dragon, and Flayed ones - I'll be spending over $200. I went and double checked the terms and conditions the 'legal goodness' link in my email, and its in there too:
This Offer is valid from 00:01 BST on 25/09/2020 until 23:59 BST on 03/10/2020 inclusive.

Thankfully the timer in the email itself means having all afternoon on Saturday to decide, well after the preorders go up.

Its certainly more tempting with the offer including stuff I was going to probably purchase, plus extra time to sort through which paints I need to replace.

I'm not sure I understand the value of the one I was sent.
I was told if I spend £50 or more, I'll get a £5 voucher. Which means spending more later to use the voucher.
In other words, this would max out at a 10% discount, dropping to 5% if I spent the same amount both times.
No offense GW, but every online seller ever gives at least double that discount. Why?

Someone mentioned it earlier, but I think they are trialling different combinations of values to see which ones prove most popular. They can then pick the cheapest option, most popular option (s) going forward.

Got one finally. Spend 130€ for 25€. Bit on expensive but as it turns out there's 4 direct only items that a) I could definitely find use for b) adds up to 130€ on the spot. Then there's another 30€ direct only item I could find use...And for added fun free postage limit is atm 25e. So all in all I pay 135€ for 160€ which adds up to 15.6% discount for items I normally would not get discount.

It's not stellar, it's not life changing but nice enough that can appreciate. I rather pay 135 than 160!

Obviously value depends on what items you are planning to purchase. This is obviously best use for direct only items. Even better if you live where GW delivers direct only items super slow like I(month waiting delivery was rather normal even before covid).

Received my code just now along with a repeat of the offer: spend €80,- or more this month and get another €12,- voucher for next month.

Yeah, I bought a virtual voucher and received the bonus voucher. The updated terms and conditions explicitly reference virtual vouchers as being eligible purchases:

"This Offer is limited to physical purchases from the Games Workshop web store and purchases of virtual vouchers only, excluding purchases of any discounted bundles."

I wonder if you can use month 1 virtual vouchers to purchase month 2 virtual vouchers to get the second bonus voucher.

Something that I can't believe only just occurred to me - this offer is not only bringing GW a little influx cash right now, it's also setting up some extra cash for next month too.
Think about the amounts on those vouchers, and how most of them don't even meet the price of a single model. How many receiving a voucher are going to spend up to or under that voucher's value, getting just a couple of paint pots or something? Hardly seems worth it, right...?

Now - how many are going to spend more than the voucher next month?
Admittedly, I can imagine quite a few of you were going to get one or both of the new 40K Codexes when they're available anyway, but that's still a sale that might otherwise have gone to a FLGS.
