I can't say off the top of my head if I've ever seen a t10 unit in 40k recently. Are there any? I see some weapons go beyond S10 , i can only assume those are meant for t10 targets, but where are they?

Brayarth Ashmantle can get to T11 I think.

Titans reaver class or more are T10 or higher. The Warlord is T16.

A Warlord titan is T16, a Reaver is T10.

Ok I never got into the titans or the books for them so I never saw their stats. I'd prefer an army to a few giant robots. If I wanted that I'd try battletech. Thanks for the answers.

(The funny thing is that according to the fluff there are primarchs who have killed titans one on one, but it looks like guilleman would have a hell of a time killing one in the rules. Hell, guilleman is basically a god and only t6 last time I looked.)

Magnus has actually destroyed starships in orbit with his mind. The Primarchs are nerfed because a lot less people would buy the models if they were unusable in 2,000 point games.

Last edition of warhammer fantasy all the tomb king big constructs had T10. It was somewhat cool from a game perspective as really good weapons where suddenly on a disadcantage. (And they had very bad saves.) But regular dudes stil wounded them on a 6.

It was some fun game balance. It could be explored more in 40K i feel. Currently no arny does it.

Not necessarily. A S10 (or higher) weapon will wound T5 models on a 2+, rather than a 3+, and tend to have higher AP and Damage values too. That means, if you've got no better targets like vehicles to fire them at, they can be useful for knocking out a few elite infantry models.
