I've posted various pics of these around, but I don't think of any of the finished units together.
Lahmian infantry, "bat swarms" and a vamp. Currently got a sword n board unit, another vamp and a "black coach" (salvaged Khemri chariot with a vampire riding) about half done so hopefully I remember to update!

I was able to finish 5 knights for my Bretonnians this month.
A grail knight, a 3rd party Amalric, and 3 KotR to start my 3rd lance.

Took 3 years of talking about it, but my buddy and I finally got back into 6th WHFB. Original project thread
Ready for their first game ever vs Dwarves. Included some janky stand-ins that have since been replaced
last 4 weeks of work: spearmen and archer units painted, 2 eagles and 4 bolt thrower crewmen
3 games vs Dwarves so far and they're 3-0 with a 4th game set for a week from now vs Empire. 2 Bolt Throwers are half-done, need to convert 8 more Silver helms to replace the poorly built ebay specials, then need to paint all the cavalry. Almost looking like a proper army

Currently i am in search for horse archers for a potential WHFB project, preferably monoglian or better yet hunnic looking.
Anyone got any ideas where to find such models?
Also it seems gw removed Chaos warriors from their store.
Guess i now am on a timer to order the Chaos knights i need...

GW Middle Earth miniatures, not a bad price for big eagles. I might upgrade.

So I'm down to the wire and finishing up the Dark Elves units that I feel I'll realistically need from here on out, and I've got a Cold One Chariot in the queue. Problem is that I don't have a second rider, and my crippling OCD is leaning toward me getting a second overhead spear model just like my currently painted Chariot has. The one I've found online is $12 for the figure alone with double that in UK to US shipping fees and garbage.
My brother's solution was to hand me these three command models from the old featherhead Dark Elves. Ugh. I hate these models. I'm not even sure I can flip/trade these at all...
On the plus side I still need another Bolt Thrower. Prices on these damn near gave me a seizure.

In my "one day" Dark Elf plan I was thinking of using those Stormcast Ballista with Delf crew as the official minis are both fiddly and extortionate on the secondary market.

Now I just did a search on US ebay and found a 5rth edition Dark Elf bolt thrower Buy It Now for $14.99. This is not an unusual find or price.
You can replace the crew, or even just replace the heads pf the metal crew to modernise the model. Automatically Appended Next Post: ... and another one for 30 Canadian dollars.

Very slowly getting more work done on my Slaanesh mortals army. I still have the shields to do for the spearmen, which I'm dreading.
Building a chariot next (which means a 'free' gorebeast too, which I'll probably add as a chaos spawn) then back to another batch of spearmen. Managed to snag a almost-still-in-blister sigvald (The blister plastic had disintegrated!) which I'll probably add to the unit of spearmen for a really fancy looking leader.

Thanks! I'm planning to use them as chaos warriors for 6th ed games and was thinking about using them as a slaanesh equivalent of blight kings for 8th ed games.
