Why would they call out the Turbo Boost ability and not the Crux Terminatus ability?
Because they're GW, and they play a different version of 40k to everyone else.

It seems bizarre to just clarify one and not mention the other unless RAW was RAI

Don't be silly, you can't expect a company worth £2.75b to be consistent with their erratas!

Definitely a funny one. There's absolutely nothing unclear about the rule. It's not even a unique interaction. There are other abilities with similar wording that work the same way and moreover other abilities that are specifically called out as exceptions to the rule. There's zero inconsistency or confusion in the rule itself.

There's only debate because that's now how the rule worked before and it feels like an obvious oversight, particularly when it doesn't work that way for Cassius (not that anything works the way you think it should for Cassius....). RAW though, its actaully perfectly clear.

This, and as well a 5++ ain't broken or anything. I'd play it as written.

Plus, playing it as written is not doing the legwork for a multi-billion dollar company to fix their poorly written rules.
