How do!
Details are announced on War Com. https://www.warhammer-community.com/2021/01/20/your-first-glimpse-at-the-black-library-celebration-2021/
Most of it we’ve seen before, including my pick of the bunch Liber Xenologis. Definitely in for that, and maybe the pins. Fingers crossed the book isn’t limited edition (article doesn’t say one way or the other, which is irritating)

The bookmark looks quite nice, but the quote on it seems like an odd choice. Rather than something memorable/iconic or just a cool quote, it's just him boasting about how he's now a Primaris marine?
The artbook looks quite nice, although the pins seem like they might be a bit more cartoony than the previous pin sets like the Legion Badges and Sabbat Crusade set. I don't see how it makes sense to say the book is "observations from a Blackstone fortress" on the cover when that doesn't seem to be the focus of it overall, though.
I'm assuming no free badges, art cards etc like they usually do either, just the book.

Glad I've taken a day off on the 20th, means I can safely pre-order this stuff from the comfort of home, instead of trying it on my phone whilst working.
But yeah, chances are that the art book will be sold out within the hour.

I’m hoping it won’t. But am planning to be front and centre when it’s going up all the same.
I had the original Xenology book, but leant it to a friend who then moved, and the book disappeared into the ether :(

Nice that Penitent will be done in audiobook format. Was kinda hoping they'd do the same with Pariah though...

Well, after my crappy Saturday trying (and failing) to get Mortis, I’m not looking forward to this. I’d like Pariah, Penitent and the Xenos book (which theoretically aren’t limited edition, but BL hardbacks essentially are, especially the bigger art/fluff books), and I wouldn’t mind the limited Penitent either - I love that cover.

There is some extra hope here.
Store stock allocations are usually sorted months in advance, and set aside. So once lockdown is relaxed, local stores have a decent chance of carrying such ltd release goodies.
Certainly I had a good loot of my local store just before this lockdown, and got several bits gone from the website.

What I find really odd is that there's nothing for AoS - I seem to recall this being the case last year too? It's a huge shame because its such a big and new setting yet it seems that with Josh Reynolds moving on to other projects, GW just hasn't replaced quality and quantity for AoS books as yet. I really hope they pick up the slack as its a huge setting without any restrictions like 40K had for a long time (all Imperial books/stories).
Otherwise I'm 100% in this for the Xeno book. I really hope GW have a lot in stock because I don't want to miss out in the 5 mins that the website goes nuts. Sadly I do agree with the above, most of the BL art/lore books are often one-time printings that you then might wait around years for a reprint to appear. I was very very pleased when they re-did Libre Chaotica ; though I'm still hoping they one day to a reprint of those Eldar concept art books and such.
Not sure if I'll go for the pins as well, depends on price, but also on Slaanesh because that's a big month in February for new excess models!

We'll find out soon enough eh.

I would be extremely excited for the Xenos book, but my distaste for the nuLore means I probably won't enjoy it given Draik is involved(which to me indicates it's going to be heavily tied in to the new version of the setting). Unfortunately as others have said, because it's undoubtedly going to be a limited edition in practice you're reduced to buying and hoping to resell if it's not to your taste or giving up entirely, since the chances you'll get a chance to look through one or read a review before they're sold out forever is basically zero.
It's good to (finally!) see Penitent is actually, definitely on the way - I look forward to the trilogy's conclusion in 2050
I'm a bit leery of the second volume of Bloodquest being PoD, I hope that doesn't indicate a decline in quality from the first volume.
No hint about more Warhammer Chronicles omnibuses was a bit disappointing, I'd been hoping to see at least the Florin & Lorenzo and Angelika Fleischer trilogies get one.

I'm in for the new Ventris book and the divisive miniature. The "inspirational" quote on the bookmark isn't remotely inspirational though.
Limited goodies, while lovely, are essentially invisible to me now having missed out too many times. I just pretend they don't exist

The print on demand Inferno reprints have all been high quality recreations as has been my copy of Filthy Ratment and Libre Chaotica.
Honestly I wish BL did print-on-demand for most of the lore books as at least then there's no sock issue at least in the short term. And they do seem to do honest high quality recreations as good as the original printings.
So if anything I'd be happy to see a book on print-on-demand. No panic pressure to buy

Extreme friction burns on socks which results in holes in socks as a result of realising what time it is on a release day and rushing to make sure one is at the PC and ready at least 20mins in advance of the time the books go on sale.
I thought everyone had the same issue?

It is very unlikely to be a limited "1000 only" copies kind of limited; but more in that its more likely to be one big print run rather than a long term stocked product.

It's....sort of better while still not looking at all like Uriel does in that art? His features and hair are still both far too harsh and broad in comparison to the softer more normal look of the artwork.

Does Bloodquest Vol2 being PoD mean it won't likely be in the same hardcover format as Vol1?
Also I'd like to see the Darkblade comic get the update and consolidate his novels into omnibuses again while they're at it.

Gotrek and Felix have another Omnibus in June, which I think will basically complete their stories in Omnibus editions; so after that I'd wager Darkblade has a chance.
As for print on demand, their PoD can be equal in quality to the original; its just a difference in how GW orders from doing a single print run and seeing how the stock lasts; to do PoD and shipping much later.
Personally I wish they'd do more PoD as so many of their limited edition books often go out of print very fast.

As GW has the mould making in-house it means either the preview model was resin and the metal mould wasn't yet made - so they were free to change it. Or they were able to add the head to a new spot on the original mould and fill-in the old spot (or fill in and recut); since I'd be shocked if they'd recut the whole mould from scratch.

Maybe he's going to be strictly "made to order" so they can delay the release while they modify the existing sculpt? Even without resculpting, made to order models can take up to 120 days before delivery, so it's not like GW has to rush these out.
I didn't even realize it was a new head, since the hair is the same. Good catch with the ear piece. Also, do primaris ever have two ears? I assume one is always covered

Is it a bit odd to anyone else that "Penitent", the sequel to "Pariah" is getting a SE release yet there isn't one for Pariah?
And am I right to assume that the Uriel Ventris model will be limited release, similar to their other Black library miniature released?

Hahaha, looks like they heard there was feedback, but didn't bother reading it - the dreadful hair is totally unchanged - looks like it might even be a photoshop job? Looks like the rest of the mini is unchanged. My eyes might be tricking me, but even down to the paintjob purity seal, the body is identical. They broke of the original, perhaps, and subbed this one in?

Maybe the model comes with an alternate head, a helmeted one as well? It's not uncommon for GW to paint up a model and leave certain parts, heads and alternate arms, separate so they can be swapped for out photoshoots showing off the options.
Looking forward to Saturday, not pleased that the Penitent limited edition comes with a short story exclusive to that one though. :|
Not looking forward to the long wait until my books arrive.
