For the demons sure, but the mortals look like desert nomads, and the archer and galive girl in the underworlds warband make pretty much perfect gerudo to my eye.

Love the concept, and the way they look from the front, but the connection between the body and the "wings" looks super janky

They’re the same pieces. The bit that joins Dexcessa’s wings into one complete mantle is replaced on Synessa by the two top ribs, which may also be a single piece.

That Snagga looks great! Might have a few as replacement Orks for Space Crusade.

The Slaanesh models look almost as nice as the Keeper of Secrets, but just as big. In that case probably just as expensive which is sadly another pass. Shame they don't have something as good looking in a much smaller size...

Casual gaming, mostly solo-coop these days.

Oh good catch! Looks interesting and suitably monstrous .. I wonder if he'll have little friends- beasts of destruction maybe?
BR Kragnos looks like it will be a stunner of a release model wise with Kroak, the Twins, Witch hunters and presumably Kragnos himself.

The other gods can wait! I've been waiting a good long time for Slaanesh's time in the sun, and I'm hoping it's as long in duration as Nurgles has been. (Though I certainly won't begrudge Tzeenth some time, too.)

A (relatively short) lifetime of hunting huge, dangerous beasts has made these Orks particularly large and strong in comparison with regular Boyz. While they’re not quite as durable as a Nob, they can certainly swing their choppas just as hard, which makes them especially prone to lording it over the Boyz they charge alongside.

Primaris Orks lmao.

That’s pretty much my thought too. Seems like they’re updating Orks indirectly through these bros, like Primaris and tacticals.

Primaris in sales concept, but not in form. They certainly want people buying ork infantry again.

So they'll be S5, which means the Ard Boyz will probably become something else. Throw some AP on their choppa as well.

Isn't that completely contrary to the lore they've built up for orks? Orks get bigger and bigger across their lifetimes, so wouldn't relatively short-lived ones be smaller, not bigger?

If they get a lot of fighting they get bigger - if they don't they stay runty. Hunting big beasts makes big orks

Orks grow bigger by fighting not by time.

Dakka does have White Knights and is also rather infamous for it's Black Knights. A new edition brings out the passionate and not all of them are good at expressing themselves in written form. There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

I also didn’t read it as These Orks live shorter lives, more that’s something about Orks in general.

But either way, more looking like this is really cool.
Though there’s no way I’m replacing all mine. For starters aside from 8or so models, my Orks are done, and that’s good stats!
But secondly no room for even more for the Orks.

The lack of squiggoth in the art trailer makes me doubt we'll get one (with this first release.)

But they've got to release one soon, right? Even non-ork/40k players would probably want to snag one
