We honestly should make a list of characters that are in the lore, but don't have models (So we can ignore Nagash, Eltharion, Gotrek, etc).

*Krell (Yeah, he has a model, but it's not "Krell" at the moment; he's just a generic wight king. Krell cameoed in the Spear of Shadows book (and that book is full of easter eggs.)
*Naaima, a handmaiden of Nefereta. Appears in the book above.
*Grombrindal (The repainted slayer model doesn't count)
*Maikkison has a lot of stuff named after him
*Arbaal the Undefeated has a saga the Bloodbound sing
*Ikit Klaw
*Mordek the damned
*Josef Bugman apparently has descendants
*And probably a lot more undead and chaos people I haven't found

Sadly Josh Reynolds isn't writing for GW anymore so Spear of Shadows is now a dead end. Dam shame.

Ikit is back, in a manner. He goes by "Ikrit" and doesn't fully remember who he was. Oh and one small detail:
Spoiler:
he has found means to channel all eight winds of magic, reached demigod-levels of power, and (by studying SCE) has made it so he can lighting-respawn like they do.

Nah. We have him because miniature designers designed it. Fluff and rules are written miniatures in mind.

But Teclis and Tyrion were already around in the background of AoS long before Lumineth were a glimmer in a sculptor's eye.

I think this might be trolling. No one really believes that the modelers just drop designs onto the fluff writers in a one-way exchange. Even if GW hadn't explained as such themselves common sense would dictate that there be back-and-forth communication underneath the umbrella of project management.

Honestly...just bring back the Old World.

It just needed to be shaken up slightly, not blown to literal smithereens. I would have been happy with quite a number of AoS exclusive factions entering the Old World.

The Old World is coming back though as its own game. AoS has given a blank slate to both the designers and hobbyists to create their own worlds within the wider setting.
The Old World has its place and I am excited to see what GW does with it but AoS shouldn't be replaced.

If they are bringing back Chaos Dwarves I hope we see Astragoth Ironhand, as that was quite a fun character concept.

Without a doubt, Ushoran.

That would ruin Nagash's year. It could also signal fracturing of the Grand Alliance.

This would also give treacherous leaders a chance to backstab Nagash.

Did he not return in the background? As leader of the flesheater.

They told me i was crazy, that i could not win with an army list like that. 2000 points later i found out that they were right

Ushoran was never a Ghoul King. He was killed long before the blood line descended.

If you mean the Carrion King, there's no definitive on who he is, Ushoran the Handsome is simply how one culture refers to him. Sumeros Summerking is another, he's a being of myth with many names.

The FEC battletome is pretty explicit about Ushoran escaping after Sigmar shattered the Shroudcage and he is still on Nagash’s hit list.

Edit: 1st FEC battletome did kind of leave it up in the air as to whether it was really Ushoran, but the 2nd tome hammered it home that it was Ushoran and he’s still “alive” and kicking abouts the Mortal Realms.

He is, technically, back.
But he is in hiding because of Nagash wanting him dead for escaping his prison.
So it sort of is a back/not back situation.

But it would be nice to have him back in the open in his resplendence.

I don't know very much about AoS, so correct me if I'm wrong, but...

I was strongly considering getting into Fantasy back in the day before AoS came out. The only army I was really interested in were the Tomb Kings, but now they aren't a thing anymore.

If they came back, I'd strongly consider getting into it, so that's what I'd like to see. I guess that's more of a them than a who.

Here you go: https://www.warhammer-community.com/legends/
Of course every TK fan wants a proper AoS Tome with all the bells & whistles + a currently supported minis range.... but Tomb Kings are still playable. At least in a casual setting (wich is where you should always play of course ).

Welcome to the game?

I would also like this. I think it would be problematic for two reasons.

The flavour of tomb kings, beeing delusional about their situation has been give to flesh eater courts.

Puttig souls into constructs have been given to bone reapers. Bone reapons also have the aesthetic of the later edition of tomb kings.

I would like to see the return of tomb kings. Use the molds of the later generation of plastic kits. (Sphinxes, snake riders, tomb guards.) Make a new casket of souls and some new chariots. Some heroes. Give them good magic. Preferbaly things that mess with timing and attack bufs. (Witch was their old edition iconic magic mostly.) Have them be either death or order, but have them oppose Nagash.

Clearing through a box of OLD models from my childhood I have actually just found 40 plastic classic big hat Chaos Dwarves, lots of metal command groups and some heros and lords. I picked them all up for about £5 at a car boot sale when I was a kid. Guess what my next painting project is going to be.....?

TBH i just want to see the whole of the old world return on circular bases with new sculpts. What I don't want is some weird GW copyrighted weirdness reimagining of the old factions. But im not holding my breath

Borgio the Besieger.

If they bring back Tilea's most famous General, then they also have to bring back Dogs of War and all of the Regiments of Renown for him to lead.

Also, I support the return of Chaos Dorfs, if, and only if, they still have the big 'ats. If their hats are smaller than a Beefeater's, I think the CD should stay in the bin until someone is willing to bring them back with their glorious giant hats.

100% agree. If I remember right, Gordrakk wields Gitsnik but as two seperate choppas. I would like to see Morglum Necksnapper come back as a ironjawz goregrunta warboss.
