In the video, we also see a regular, non-Ghaz Mega Armoured Warboss. No quite possibly the first sign of updated Boyz - the heavy weapons are shoulder mounted.

That grot gunner on his arm is very orky idea for an 'automated' weapon

It should be said the video is required watching. Totally Orky.
Absolutely loved what I saw! Actually good timing as well, if the new Warboss model is anywhere the scale that the new Artel W Megabosses are, I already have something ready to match up what they might be releasing!

The two bosses seem to also have similar poses. Is it possible they are both options in a multi-part kit?
Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?

The exact same thought crossed my mind.
Really hope we see some new Boyz with the Ork release.
Is it just me or is that paintjob really basic and flat compared to their normal standards? In places - the skin, for example - it honestly looks like they just hit it with a contrast paint and called it a day.

Yea, I don't like it. Like with Lelith I can't wait for the community to show off what they can do.
I honestly think maybe it's an unfinished job. I mean, look at the white on the bottom right above the hoof. What is that even supposed to be? It looks like someone was blocking in a design or something and then just forgot about it.

Warpaint. That's not an unfinished model, I count tons of colors in each different section of the mini. Maybe it was done by a newer studio painter.
Squigboar basically. Technically Snakebite, but I don't think GW will pigeon hole them so that they'll have broader appeal.
Feral orks are well established in the lore and not limited to snakebites.
7 Ork facts people always get wrong: Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other. A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot. Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests. Orks do not think that purple makes them harder to see. They do think that camouflage does however, without knowing why. Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor. Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers. Orks do not have the power of believe.
Here's the vid. But damnit gw, if you're gonna showcase a mega armoured warboss you better give us one with this release. Along with non legend rules. Better late then never I guess.
His pattern of returning alive after being declared dead occurred often enough during Cain's career that the Munitorum made a special ruling that Ciaphas Cain is to never be considered dead, despite evidence to the contrary.
hopefully this gives us Feral orkz who are actually...wait for it....good in close combat, unlike boyz who are currently 50% worse vs basic Space Marines when compared to last edition.
ZebioLizard2 wrote: And well.. Orks are pretty much not going to be very objective storytellers about their favorite sort of thing.
Well, yeah. That too (for the folks complaining about 'Primaris orks'). But mostly I was just pointing out that this wasn't Snakebites, but very explicitly a multi-clan 'sub-kultur,' like Stormboys.

I know it's exciting to be getting any attention at all but man is that a soulless sculpt, it's going to be so sad finally seeing what looks to be an army's worth of new Orks after so long if they're all like that.

To be fair space marines are GW's heroes and so naturally are going to be better at close combat than most other factions' infantry units. /sarcasm

Honestly I'd be surprised if the shoulder mounted weapons become a thing. I remember reading about the design of lootas. That they modeled them being shoulder mounted purely to make them stand out. It would kind of spoil their unique silhouette.
