So, after a few years away from 40k, I'm looking at getting back into the game. I've never played 9th edition, and the northern Virginia scene is rather... competitive only begins to describe it. I want to jump back in with a good Sisters of Battle (Adepta Sororitas) army that won't get me roflstomped. Practice and time will be ingredients, but everyone knows the game begins with a good list.

Personally I would drop the heavy flamers from the sisters squads if your going for holy Trinity I would go for the combi melta on the superiors and don't for get the SI they are free

I haven't played since 6th maybe 7th edition.

I have this as my base army but don't know what else to get or how to organize it or what upgrades to equip.

To be honest we are not too far off a new codex so a few things could change. Likely best to wait another month or so before any big buys.

Yep our book is still fresh but Sisters look to be on deck. I doubt too much changes but yes heavy bolters should still be the weapons they are currently. Best guess puts the book out in May but with GW nothing is certain. With several new sisters units coming out they are on deck after Ad Mech possibly.
