Hey guys,
Im very new too 40K, and am still wrapping my head around the rules, and my army.
But i was wondering if anyones around who would like a easy going game? Maybe as restrictions ease.

I play necrons, and have around a 1000 pts

Cheers, everyone

I don't live in London anymore, but there are some fantastic gaming groups in the city with some great gaming centres too. Depending on where you are, I'd recommend Bad Moon Cafe. They have a vibrant community that cover a wide range of games and do regular start up leagues for folks learning to play a game. It can get loud on DnD nights, but they did add sound deadening boards and that has helped.

Darksphere is located in Waterloo (small) and Shepherd's Bush (big). I've not been to the Waterloo shop, but the Bush is a fantastic venue and I've been there for tournaments and pick up games.

I also recommend getting in touch with the London Wargaming Guild. They have weekly meets in Covent Garden and at Bad Moon Cafe so you'll have no problem getting a beginner game there too.

I am in London and would also recommend Bad Moon Cafe, it's great place to game.

They aren't re-opening until May 17th though but that will be the case for most gaming in stores I think.

Darksphere is also great but I actually prefer bad Moon for actual gaming tbh.

There's also some great clubs in London.

H.A.T.E (Hackney Area Tabletop Enthusiasts) is a very welcoming bunch and a great club. However, they are also not open yet and it probably won't be before May/June that they open.

I found Bad Moon to be a bit inconvenient in terms of public transport.

Would wholly recommend Darksphere. Close to Tube and Overground services, big stores and friendly staff. Shepherd's Bush is a lot bigger than the Waterloo one, and generally quieter in terms of actual noise rather than activity.

HATE is a great group, went there a few times, although it's a bit of an awkward journey from Liverpool St station.

London Wargaming Guild I actually found to be a bit unfriendly, more clique-y. Might just be a bad first impression but I was a little put-off by the atmosphere.

I don't see the transportation issues regarding BMC, Valk, do you mind elaborating? Borough is under 10 mins from the venue and there are plenty of buses that stop just down the road from it so I don't see how it could be any more inconvenient than the other gaming spots around the city.

I found the walk from Borough to be a bit of a trek when carrying a figure case and work bag. Perhaps that was just my experience, like how a long, straight road feels a lot longer to walk than it actually is.

HATE Club, East London

Seconded for HATE Club - very friendly and casual-focused.

It's a licensed venue so you'll need to be 18+, and it probably won't be open again until June as it's not a retail location.
