Greetings,

I finally decided to sign up and get a little active here, after lurking for some time.
I've been painting a lot and playing a little of both Warhammer Fantasy and 40k in my youth, and just started picking it up again after a break of more than 10 years.

I want to start collecting a little more focussed this time and decided on 40k and the Dark Angels (or rather, a successor chapter), since I always liked the stories about them. I am going to try and actually build up a proper army and get a little more into playing this time, but the painting and modeling still have highest priority for me.

I'll have to see how much time I will actually be able to spend on it, but I'll try to post some progress on my army as I build it up.

Willkommen!

You're not alone with that story, many of us took a break in our 20s and returned to the hobby in our 30s.

I like successor chapters too, the only issue is finding the shoulder pad transfers as I'm no good at freehand.

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka

I'm not exactly happy with my freehands yet, but I don't really like using decals anyways. So it's just another thing I gotta improve on over time for me.
