I have started collecting orks and have quite of few options but I have started looking at creating a list around a Kustom Stompa but I am not entirely sure what would work well on that list. I also am not sure how to actually get a kustom stompa, forge world seems to be out of stock. Are there other ways to get ahold of a kustom stompa? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

1) Ebay/FB groups/etc
2) Scratch Build one
3) 3d Printing

Personally I'd go with the 2nd option myself as nothing's more "kustom" than a big scratch built orky thing...
Heck, you don't even really need to worry about your modeling skill as orks bolt junk together to make their stuff. So grab a bunch of bitz & channel your inner ork!

Then post pics.

your mind

The stompa kit has a lot of pieces, and alone can be converted in the sense that it can be assembled somewhat differently than intended, already. I added things and ... moved, during which time it got smashed and now requires reconstruction. I will rebuild again in a custom way. My advice would be to eBay an old kit and modify it or an unbuilt kit and convert it during assembly, depending on funds...

My advice is different. If you are starting now with orks. Forget about the stompa, do not build a house starting from the roof.

Buy all the other stuff, experiment with the painting scheme and play style (if you aldo play) and after a while, if you still fashion 8it, then go for it.

Buy the regular GW Stompa and go from there. Add parts as necessary. Look at things like the ork jets, the Gorkanaut, and so on for possible additional parts.

For what it's worth, the Stompa as it currently stands is something like 900 points and is horrifyingly overcosted for what it actually brings to the table. So that should probably be something you take into consideration.

The official stompa model is GW's way of saying, "we don't actually expect you to pay money for this crap, consider building your own."
