With tournament starting up again soon, my friends and I are looking to get some practice in so I thought I'd have a go at knocking up a list that is a bit more competitive in the current meta.
I've tried to put in a bit more firepower than your typical list with an answer to most problems, due to this the list suffers a lack of redundancy :-/
I'd really like another squad of sang guard which I could get by dropping one of the HQs, the dread, the whirly or the bikes but all of those play pretty key roles.

Few questions for you:

Are there any secondaries you designed the list around specifically? Which units are critical to their scoring?

Which units are you buffing with Dante, the Librarian, and Dante?

Is there a tactic to the one axe in the Sang Guard or is just a wysiwyg thing? Similar question for the hammer in the DC?

I like the troop choices although I'm an assault bolt rifle guy but I see where your head is at.

Love the whirlwind. Fight last and shutdown overwatch are critical for BA. Especially fight last.

MM Attack bikes, plasmaceptors, and redemptor are great fire support.

It's pretty much the UK standard comp build the only questionable choices are Dante and the dc which are not bad just slightly weaker than other options and the wl / relic on your librarian - take 1 not both obsec modifiers
