After publishing a plain white "Battleship" grid board with poorly painted figures, I figure you would want to see how the other half live.
Well painted 28mm figures representing the 3 Musketeers on a board depicting 1666's Vienna.
This is a replay of the scenario I posted earlier this year.
Anno Domini 1666 is a swashbuckling adventure game set with characters based on real-world history and famous novel.
I cannot play this game without music from Robin Hood and Zorro playing out in my head. Everything plays out like the massive swordplay scenes wrapping up these movies. The only thing missing seems to be a chandelier.

"This is the most fun I've had, since the world was young."

While the Polish characters are virtually unknown in the west...

From left to right - Longinus, Zagłoba, Skrzetuski, Wołodyjowski as depicted in a movie

Characters from a trilogy by Henryk Sienkiewicz (Nobel prize for Quo Vadis), three books about
- Chmielnicki's Uprising (Polish-Cossack war)
- The Deluge (Polish-Swedish war)
- Polish- Ottoman war
1647-1673

You may know Wołodyjowski from his famous duel scene in the movie "The Deluge" considered a masterpiece when it comes to saber fighting.

Funnily Skrzetuski & Wołodyjowski and Geralt & Jaskier in the first the Witcher TV series were played by the same 2 actors. Those two were just pretty popular ~15years ago in Poland
