There was an old game called chaos gate that was really addictive back in the day. I think a modern version of that would be amazing to play. I would bet the community could make such a game. With modern graphics and expanded units it would be badass

Agreed. I wish they'd just redo it.
The Dawn of War 2 games had some Chaos Gate vibes with the story structure, limited but upgradeable characters taking on wider forces, but had limited-ability tokens instead of move-points/turned based. I'd still play my copy of CG but have been unable to get it to run on any modern OS, even then when I got a patched version running on my old computer it was glitchy with instances of lightning clawed terminator sprite merging with a jump pack and firing assault cannon...

Something similar is doable in most available engines, but even making simple mechanic games is quite the time commitment.

This made my day. Thanks @Eumerin.

His pattern of returning alive after being declared dead occurred often enough during Cain's career that the Munitorum made a special ruling that Ciaphas Cain is to never be considered dead, despite evidence to the contrary.

This looks like their first serious effort outside of mobile gaming. Good luck to them.

YW

I seriously wasn't sure if this was a joke thread, since the announcement was just last week at the start of the Warhammer Skulls event.

Hmm. Seems a bit disconcerting, although part of that comes from the number of 40k games that originated from mobile apps.
But as you say, all the best. If they’re giving it a serious effort, more power to them.
