Hi everyone

Apologies if this is not allowed. I work at Kilmarnock Station Railway Heritage Trust which is a charity based at Kilmarnock Train Station helping those with mental health difficulties and other adverse life events. As well as the existing services & sessions we run We are opening a scale model shop on the station platform and are hoping to run model classes/groups as a form of therapy. It would be great to hear of any ideas that you have on how we could get a group up and running or any advice that any of you have on anything that the shop could sell.
TIA

Hi there!

I had a quick look at the website, and I think it’s a wonderful programme! I hope it continues to do well.

I would recommend contacting Ganes-workshop directly about their recommendations for setting up a trade account and/or clubs.

https://trade.games-workshop.com/

This is the “Warhammer alliance” home page - I run a bit of a club at the school I work in, and they’re really helpful!

Games Workshop Ayr is your nearest store:
https://www.games-workshop.com/en-IE/Warhammer-Ayr And the staff may have advice for setting up a club, or folks in the area with time to spare to help out.

I notice the trust has an event space - a potential money spinner could be to run a Warhammer tournament (when the Pandemic calms down OFC).

And I’m non-Warhammer recommendations, I suggest you stick lots of LEGO! Or *not-lego* alternatives such as COBI:

Best of Luck!
Neil
