They won't be squatted, they're part of the Orruk Warclans battletome that's coming out with Kruleboyz.

The way GW has been updating things with AoS, I'd expect Bonesplittaz to get an update to their models/rules the next time Orruks are up for an update. Could be 3-10 years out, though.

They're probably just being reboxed, thus the Out of Stock.

My expectation is not Squatted, just First Borned, as in we just won’t see any new releases for them. It’s all Kruleboyz going forward is my expectation.

Old sculpts, no new releases in a long time, eclipsed both in the lore and thematically by Iron Jawz and now Kruleboyz. Its a fair worry, I would never actively encourage a new player to start a pure Bonesplitterz army.

The Bonesplitterz (f.k.a. Savage Orcs) date back to 2011 and are the same age or newer than a large number of models still in Age of Sigmar (e.g., almost all of the Imperial, Seraphon, Skaven and Dark Elf lines).

I would also argue there's lots of opportunity for them to expand on the range. I could definitely see a more bone-armoured/helmed two-handed chompa unit, a Savage Boss on Warboar and a more explicit tracker unit.

They recently mentioned in a short story a boy who appeared to be an ironjaw gone bonesplitta. Which is an interesting concept that I hope they expand upon!

He's actually from an earlier short story which is pretty cool.

The brevity and multiple edits in OP's post suggest to me that he misread or misinterpreted something in the Warcom article and corrected himself.

I mean I guess, though really it's an underworlds kit that has token AoS rules so I wouldn't really count it personally.

But yeah, I'm not saying they're a dead faction. Just that they've had very little love and feel distinctly like a legacy option. It COULD change for sure, just feels risky to me to get too invested.

it seems like when GW expands a range they tend to do something new with new subfactions etc. even with stormcast eternals the new stuff often is it's own distinct thing. just my curosry view on what little I know about AOS.

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

Meh, the bonesplitterz line has relatively recent and good quality models. There are a lot of factions that need more love. I'd rather see more model releases like SGL where they update kits and flesh out the line of a faction with old kits to bring it up to par.

Wow I didnt expected such a conversation after I written out that they will stay.

I was asking more, because of Kruleboyz are moving into the space of the Savage Orcs ( Bonesplitterz ). I want to purchase some since I don't have enough of them to make archers and the Big Stabba.

I think Kruleboyz and savage orruks will have a differant design space that'll be more apparent when we see more of the army. I suspect it'll be a "quality over quantity" issue

Just going off of the previews for Kruleboyz, they already have a different "silhouette" than Bonesplittas. One army(Kruleboyz) has monsters front and center, with most of their characters mounted or their infantry supported by monsters of some kind. The other (Bonesplittas) has a strong theme of being monster hunters tied into their identity.
