Greeting fellow dakkanoughts. This will be an odd post.

Any gaming clubs or players in the Vancouver area / Tricities who actively play Ancients?

After playing 40k for a few years (more painting than anything else), I've been looking at
trying get into some kind of ancients ruleset after purchasing some 28mm romans from Victrix.

I bought clash of spears because it looked to be in the spirit of what I'm interested in, but I'd be willing to try any ruleset that a club uses.
I haven't really played that many games in any system (though I do play a few), so I don't know many people interested in this sort of thing (kind of a niche hobby lol)

Anyhow, I thought reaching out would be worth a shot.

Before my injury rendered me unable to travel easily, I attended several Historic wargamming conventions in Washington state pre-Covid. I seem to recall a fair few who drove down from Vancouver, so you likely can find an active club. If you have a store that sells rules, hit them up for contacts in your area. Otherwise check out apps like Meetup, I know it is used a lot by board gammers here abouts.

Thank you for the ideas.
I took a look around on meetup and found a large group called the Trumpeters. I'll be sure to keep tabs on them.
