I like him much better than the Emperor's Champion.
Agreed. And nice that he gets weapon options. Probably an axe in place of the sword, and either a hand flamer or a combi melta to recall the old le model
They all look pretty bad tbh. I think the EC is the best of the lot and even that isn't anything great. I had been hoping the BT box would have good stuff so I could buy it and get a discount on the EC but I guess not, no way I'm buying this set.

Agreed on the Scouts looking bad. They look very stiff and they basically look like the old scout kits with monk hair cuts. Would have much preferred medieval style greathelms or something more a little more distinct.

Think this will be the ETB starter/combat patrol, followed by a full kit? Or the sprue is 2 “scouts” 3 full brothers x2?
Doubt it will be ETB when the description is a 10 man primaris crusader squad with a ton of options. And the marshal has 2 head options and a selection of weapons.

Missed the description, caught up on the picture.
Looks like the arms are easy swaps, just trying to figure out bodies. Could still be something like the assault intercessors from indominus which had some choice, but not a full kit.
I guess we’ll learn more later, or if someone more awake then I breaks out the magnifying glass.
Hope it’s the full kit, for the sake of the fanatical BT’s out there.
For all the people asking about the old necromunda about lowly gangs fighting. And the arms look like old school conections so it is probably gonna have a good amount of bitz compatibility.
Dakka does have White Knights and is also rather infamous for it's Black Knights. A new edition brings out the passionate and not all of them are good at expressing themselves in written form. There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

I knew when they mentioned a tease, it would be warcry.... figures the thing I was looking forward to the most will probably get the most obscure preview lol
I'm not one to complain about these previews as there's been stuff in all of them from the past 18 months that I've liked a lot but this one seems to be the worst of them imo. The Killteam, Necro, BB team and BTs are all very mediocre and the rest of it seems worse. Now just hoping for a nice GSC vs Custodes box or a release date for the HH game.
I was really hoping they would unveil the van saar upgrades along with these. The market/shanty terrain is neat. The actual outcast models though....huge meh. Kinda relieved though, saves me some money.

Cool, Go ahead and do that for Craftworlds then. I'll take it I'll take anything new at this point.

They won't do it for CSM but they'll definitely do it for World Eaters.
Oh, now the necromunda stuff is actually interesting.
The market just looks like its 2X one sprue (wide awning, narrow awning and display rack, but there a few bits and gubbins in the box cover that aren't shown in the sidebar pictures. Wonder how much is actually in the kit?
Curious how many head and weapon options are in the outlaw kit And how compatible they are with some of the gang weapon packs.
And shock: 12 models in the box? Maybe? Though only four distinct poses...
Hmm. There may be less variety here than I thought.

Welcome back to our web of rumours from Gen Con 2021. You’ve already heard echoes from Harrowdeep, seen glimpses of skirmish battles in the grim darkness of the far future, and met a bloodthirsty team who are on the way to the gridiron.
For our final tease from the event, we’ve got whispers straight from the war-torn wastes of the Eightpoints, where things are heating up like the furnaces of Tharkar Zaal* itself.
Warcry is a fast and furious game of warband-on-warband violence. Devoted cultists fight to prove their worth to the Chaos gods, agents of Order battle to bring them down, and Death and Destruction are inevitable.
Now, there are rumblings of a new struggle beneath the Varanspire, and mysterious creatures have delivered us a morsel.
An itsy-bitsy ditty echoes from the caverns – many fangs** to the Varanspire Octaves for singing us that.
What does this mean for Warcry? Well, we’d love to tell you everything, but we’re in a bit of a bind.
There’s a name though – Red Harvest. And it already has us itching to find out more.
We’ll leave it up to you to weave together the clues. All we can say is this – make sure your warbands clear the cobwebs off their weapons and armour, because they’re in for the fight of their lives.
What could all of this mean? Head over to Facebook and Twitter to let us know what you think is coming to the Eightpoints.
That’s a wrap from Gen Con – we hope you’ve enjoyed seeing some of the fantastic boxed sets, miniatures, and books that are on the way to the worlds of Warhammer. We’ll be revealing more as we get closer to the launch dates for all of the goodies we’ve shown off, so sign up for our newsletter to get the latest updates sent straight to your inbox.
