Humble Bundle are doing another big RPG book bundle with Cubical 7! There's 50 digital books up for grabs from the 1st edition through to the 4th edition (not the 3rd which I think had a different publisher?). This is at least the second time they've done this and if you took part before there's a lot new here for you to get including the 4th edition core book.

If you're totally new to it all then the top tier is a solid choice for all the content.

If you took part before then you only need the second highest tier - the 24 item one at around £13.08. That adds all new things that you won't have got before.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

Quite a bit changed backstage, a bit like D&D, its too much to simply list but the underlying game is similar.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.

2nd and 1st are fairly similar i believe, at least as far as someone having played either wont have trouble playing the other.

4th takes the same ruleset, and bloats it beyond manageable…similar on surface but xompletely different in the details, and there sure are a lot of details…

Ive struggled with 4th, trying to find a way to convince me its worth playing but recently i just gave up and will likely not buy any more products for it.

Its a shame, c7 makes fabulous books but the ruleset is so insanely and needlessly convoluted…even a single fight with a single powerful enemy is more bookkeeping than the entirety of most other games ive played and gmd.

Why someone didnt pull the handbreak during development is hard to understand
